Good morning beautiful girl! First of all, I am praying for you. Divorce is definitely like grieving a death. You are grieving the loss of dreams and plans with the person you thought you would be with forever. And in my opinion…it’s a little worse because they are still around and you have to see them move on with their life without you. At least that is the way it was for me. Anyway….all that to say…I am thankful you have a therapist and your wonderful family and friends to support you. Having watched you for many years…I know you are a strong and resilient woman. Even though we only see a small portion of your life, I just feel that you are. Praying for peace and healing for your precious heart and strength when those anxious moments come bursting in.
On another note….Ireland sounds AMAZING! I have always dreamed of going there. I am your Mama’s age, so I don’t think you would have as much fun if I went but I sure would love to watch and enjoy the trip as you document it. 😊

Melissa, I have been divorced twice and I never thought I would either. It is so hard, stressful and so much change. Which is so hard especially when you have anxiety. Prayers for you, i pray God will hold you in His hands and help you through such a hard time.
My divorce was finalized 2/28 this year after 27 years of marriage. Ups and downs. At the end of the day I don’t look at is as a failure. I have the two most amazing sons, that i wouldn’t have had without this marriage. I learned what I need and want I’m my next relationship. Time heals. You wouldn’t have Holly or the good memories without the bad. ❤️❤️❤️

I just got back from a trip to Ireland earlier this month. March was a PERFECT time to visit. There were barely any tourists. We had most places we went all to ourselves. It did rain every day, but fortunately we got lucky and it didn't rain during our hikes. You will absolutely love the food!!! Everything we had was incredibly delicious. I hope you can make it happen!

My husband accepted a position at ASU after retiring from a 40+ year career in aerospace. We own a home in Oro Valley, near Tucson. Consequently, he has an apartment in Phoenix for during the week. It’s super close to the farm restaurant and I love their food.

Feels like so many friends recently when I include you in list as my imaginary best internet friend lol. Been following you for years so it almost feels like we are friends. Breaks my heart hearing about house and furniture etc especially since you are so into decorating and interior design. Each individual piece of furniture probably hurts that little bit extra on top of all the other feelings that come with the divorce. 😢

I know how difficult divorce can be, I went thru a painful one with 2 small girls, but I was able to get thru it, and I was blessed to find an amazing man, that loves me and my girls. We have been together now for 27 years and I could not be happier. I hope the same for you. You seem to be a Christian woman, with lots of Faith. Keep focused on Him and He will get you thru it. It's difficult when you marry someone that already has kids, especially teenagers. Very difficult - been there, done that. The parent's obligation is first to their kids - that's just a reality. I chose to leave our home because I just didn't have any joy in being there anymore. As much as I loved the house - it was the best choice for me and I never regretted it. When people get divorced, it just doesn't affect us, it affects the entire extended family. Please keep your faith strong, lean on God - He's got bigger plans for you. Focus on healing right now. Rose is adorable!
I’m so sorry to hear you’re going through a divorce. I am as well and you’re right, it’s absolutely grieving the loss of someone except they’re still living. My divorce has been going on for over a year now because we share two small children and also he is making other things much more difficult then they have to be. But I also believe that God has something better for my future and He is teaching me many, many lessons throughout this season. He is good, even in the valley. Sending you a big ol hug Melissa. 💕
Sorry to hear about the divorce. Don't push yourself, do what you feel is best for you. Another influencer, Samantha March, did an Ireland trip over this past NYE. I don't know if it's the same company but you could check her videos to get a feel for what a trip might be like. She is hosting a trip to Greece this year.
