- On what turned out to be the last day of the 2019-20 ski season (because they shut it down for the COVID-19 Corona Virus pandemic the next day), my son and I caught a really beautiful afternoon of skiing at Hoodoo Ski Area. This video is of the "Top Of The Wall and "Headwall" runs. "Top Of the Wall" is basically a green run (green on the map, but blue on the mountain sign for some reason) that gets you over to "Headwall". "Headwall" is a short little run right under the summit lift that they have rated as a black diamond, but when they groom it, it's more like a steep blue run. Fast and fun.

Cool to see someone else skiing at my favorite hill
I’ve been on this run as well, since it’s so short, and kind of steep it reminded me a lot of a Midwest black diamond.
Question: what is the off map terrain accessible from the peak like? Is it just your usual side country?
The problem with the off map terrain on the south side is that its not very steep and the south facing slopes get blown off and melted off pretty quick. When there is enough snow there's some fun descents off the back, but you need to watch your angle so you don't get too low and have to hike back around.
No good way to get back. Its also extremely icy over there.
shouldve gone straight versus speed checking half the way down...
