Hercules Hideaway Microphone Boom Stand (MS533B). EZ Clutch Tripod Microphone Stand with 2 in 1 Hideaway Boom. Big thanks to Mark and Mike for sending these stands to me via my gift registry on the support page. The Hercules Tripod Base Hideaway Boom Stand MS533B features the Hideaway Boom and can easily be converted to a boom or straight stand. It also features EZ Mic Clip, 2-in-1 Boom Clamp, and EZ Clutch. The Hercules book stand has it all: sturdy, quick to adjust, compact, innovative, and transportable. The best stand on the market.

I've had this for years and thought the boom stand only came with particular models until you've shown otherwise on your video that I've seen just now! 😂 Thanks for this!

Thanks for this video mate. I got mine in the mail just now and couldn't quite work out how it worked with the hideaway boom. Now I know. Appreciate your vid.

I actually thought that it was broken as well. Thank you so much for the video man. I have never been so impressed with a microphone stand. Awesome!

very heavy duty one, i wouldn't use it for live performance, but for guitars, vocals and drums is a blast to move with on the go.

This was so helpful. I was thinking about buying the regular type but I decided to buy this and use it as a lamp stand most of the time and turn it into a microphone stand when I do recordings. So it will be a 3 in one value. I have a lamp shade which is not being used so I am very happy with my idea.

Great review. I just bought two of these 533's and they blow away my Proline (but the Proline's were half the price.

I have had this one for 5 years. I LOVE it!!! Best stand I have ever used for live performances. Would never go back to the cheap ones that don't stand up.

I almost purchased a couple of these, but settled on the MS532B, simply because the boom is better and if you need a straight mic stand, just take the boom off. The MS532B is also a better over-head boom stand. If you're not careful with the MS533B, you could damage the tube where the boom drops in, so always use care.

I'd prefer to see how much weight/force the boom can handle than doing repetitive things like fold/unfold instead. And what about the clutch - does it realy holds the upper part stopping it from rotation?!

Question for those who have this: Can you completely remove the thin pole (the one that gets hidden) if you pull it even further?

Can it hold any Condenser Mic with Isolation shield, Sir?

Thanks for the video! Any idea what the weight limit is? I'm hoping to put a KSM32 on one of these stands, which weights 17.3 ounces.

This review can be improved my including a mic with usage in the review. Also, I saw in another review that it doesn't swivel, is that correct?

It swivels no problem but not from the hand level system, you want to use the turnable knobs to swivel the poles.

Do microphones sag with this stand?

What’s the widest part of the stand? Looking for more traveling mics and I need one that compact

Nice video... Can it hold well a heavy condenser mic with the boom all the way opened? Thanks

hi, what about the ms401b in comparison with this? I want to use 80% studio recording guitar and vocals (sit no stand up) and 20% live stand up
