The glue (Rema Tip Top SC4000) I'm using I've tested on almost all kind of materials you can meet in the drysuit production. So, I'm pretty fond its working. The qualities I'm looking for are: 1. Great elasticity - the glue should bond to the surfaces and stays there no matter how it bend or stretched etc. 2. It should not change its qualities after prolonged contact with the water, especially salt water. I've seen glues that after exposure to the salt water changed colour, swelled and, eventually, the seam became loose and leaks were created
I am new to wearing waders, But I have a chest high pair with socks. My feet get wet, not like a puddle in boot but like seepage, is this how they work?
Its a neoprene tape used usually by drysuit manufacturers to seal the seams. You can find it on the internet per meter of various widths. Just search "aquatape"

Not sure how to test waders for leaking, but fixing technique is the same
