The Sawashiro one definitely made the part where he's styling on Ichi much better, though when it comes to the whole fight and the scenes that come after the first one, Brutality probably fits the mood more than Savagery or Brutality Rebuild

@@hayasher thanks although I'm not sure how much action sequences and QTEs are there until I see them for myself when I play, plus when I make these vids, I almost always add some mods that I find around floating Nexus and apply them to the game, mostly outfits
is it bad to say Impregnable Triangle would've fit this Jima fight more than the Y8 one? Considering Ichi doesn't exactly have a tight connection with them
Impregnable Triangle is dramatic ONLY because the person the Jimas fight is someone they hold a life long connection to. It wouldn't have fit in Y7 at all.
Nah, Receive You The Hyperactive is badass in a 'let’s kick some ass' kind of way. It isn’t melodramatic, so it fits perfectly. On the other hand, Impregnable Triangle *is* melodramatic and it works as intended because of a strong connection Kiryu has to the three he’s fighting
I disagree if only because Majima's theme is recieve you regardless of the situation. The jima bros fight in 7 is just another fight to Majima while the Trio fight in 8 has Daigo in the mix and the song represents all of them/the Tojo as a whole
I very much disagree. Around half of the ost I don't care much for. I don't hate a single song in 8, everything is literal music to my ears, Kooky, twin machetes, Giftiger Füllhalter, slugfest, sanctions, the end of denial, brutality-rebuild, impregnable triangle. It can't be beaten. I love it so much.
Tbh some of these just don't really fit in 7. Like, Receive and Believe You just can't replace Rolling Eyes Fall Down The Dragon wall, it fit so perfectly in the battle. I do like End Of Denial on Tendo's fight and Impersonation against Masato
when I make videos like these, it's not my intent to try and convince people that slapping OST from another game onto another makes more sense or something like that, it's just for entertainment purposes even I think that half of these songs would never fit into Yakuza 7

All of the omi liutenants that mattered and mabuchi had awesome soundtracks, also 7's version of brutality is still better. Ism is pure beauty.
