- In this video, I'm headed out on a SAVERS THRIFT SHOPPING ROAD TRIP. You heard me right.. I jumped in the car to every SAVERS THRIFT STORE in the area!
I teamed up with Savers to celebrate National Thrift Shop Day and spread awareness for the #IGIVEASHIRT campaign. It can take over 700 gallons of water to make just one cotton T-shirt. Savers wants to help offset that impact on our planet, by getting one million people to make their next new T-shirt a thrifted one. Collectively saving 700 million gallons of H20 during the back-to-school shopping season (the second biggest shopping season of the year).

Beth really puts together some amazing looks! Sometimes it seems to start out a little "iffy", and by the time she adds jewelry, sunnies, purse, shoes etc., it just looks fantastic! I'm 62 also, and have thrifted since my teens. I didn't have the $$ to purchase new items when I was younger, and now that I can, the thrifting life is ingrained in me. I will only purchase brand new items if it's something really really special or rare or a good investment. Otherwise, I just enjoy the whole act of "treasure hunting" in the thrift stores, so why buy new and look like everybody else?

I need to go shopping with you. I mean, I don't know how you do it? You pick some things I wouldn't ever touch and it ends up looking amazing and stylish and ridiculously cute on you!
Ahh, you're a girl after my own heart! I've been wearing vintage and thrifting since it wasn't cool (1970s), and have expanded my '"don't buy new" to all areas of living. It's a wonderful life!! Keep up the great attitude.
I just purged all my thrift clothes...that I never wound up wearing. I feel better now than I did when I bought them. Now I can walk into my closet. One thing in...one thing out.

Good to know you are in OC, that interests me much more than someone thrifting in LA. I like hearing more about my local area. Although that does mean one more person hitting the same thrift shops I do! I'll just have to hope we aren't the same size. ;)

savers actually a pretty good store I've been to one in Australia but just to let you know and everyone else know there's only 22 States that's not have a savers store in it and my state that I live in does not have one at all I like to see one come into my area so I can come to it as well I love savers
