    Wow actually I bought this guitar from your store through Ebay I received yesterday and I'm in love with this guitar sounds AMAZING the purpose for me to get this one is because I don't trust to take my expensive guitars to some of my shows and this guitar feels soooo comfortable and sounds so good that I'm not gonna miss one of my expensive ones in a live show situation. And the setup the store did is great THANK YOU!

      This guitar is not cheap.You're acting like it's not an expensive guitar itself.It's 1400 bucks.What are you leaving behind a sur tom anderson 63 strat..its a awesome guitar .and if it got stole or damage at a gig it'd hurt too...

      @travislee325 Well, compared to all my other guitars this one is way cheaper. And now you can find them on sale up to $700 a new one at Reverb was posted recently that's even cheaper around half of the price

      Thanks for your heads up on this guitar. I bought one of these used in MINT condition for £700 UK, as you said it feels so comfortable. The build quality is fantastic and parts used/manufactured (non US) are top quality, the trem' works well and stays in tune. I own a '61 Strat which does not play as well as this and I've never managed to get the trem' to stay in tune (even light use). The pickups on the JV are good but not amazing BUT will still record with the JV, my neck pickup on vintage '61 is to die for. At the price I paid for the JV it is a keeper and definately a gigger. I still have to do a few tweaks to pickup height but I'm glad I bought a used JV than a Classic Vibe.

    I bought both a tele and Strat 50s JV. They are both superb and two of my favorites out of 20 plus guitars.

      JOHN can play...he is considered the best by Clapton, and many others. .no disrespect on your opinion ..just saying John has true talent for the instrument , his idol was Stevie Ray ..HIS LOVE for the guitar is deep ..unfortunately many don't see past his pop style tunes...but he really can play ..

      I played one of these at a guitar shop and love it. It ain’t cheap though. It’s a bit pick but I wish for the price they offered more than two color options.

    It's a great feeling neck on this guitar (soft V with a 9.5 radius) and the pickups are not bad and the color is nice...I just think Basswood is really cheap, crappy wood. I have never liked Basswood on any guitar and that includes the overpriced EVH guitars. This is typical of fender as of late...making it seem like a Basswood body is great and resonant, when really it's right up there with poplar , paulownia, candlenut and every other low budget 10 cents a pound wood. Don't kid yourself, ash and alder woods have been used for many years for a reason. Just my 2 cents. Peace

      Yup, thats the only real downside to this imo. I'll probably eventaully get an American Performer instead

    • @santigardipee9303
      @santigardipee9303 2 года назад

      That was my first thought. I like the concept but why go cheap. Fender leaves one item off of something every time to make you customize it.

    • @CreamCityMusic

      Lot's of people share this sentiment 😉

    • @elwoodhsmith
      @elwoodhsmith 2 года назад +3

      Basswood is used on high-end Suhr guitars, so it’s more likely that it comes down to how the instrument is constructed, rather than basswood being crappy wood. I should add that Suhr adds a maple cap (I’ve also seen koa) to the basswood, which has to affect the tone.
