I got it! Steve Perry WAS the face of Journey but please that guy never sang a single song of Jouney for the last 35 years. Let's give Arnel Pineda the credit he so deserved. Can we just support one of them without bashing the other.

He is an excellent singer in his own right.AP got that tenor, awesome raspy voice, the youthful looks (in his mid 50's--but looks like 20 years younger !! ). unbelievable energy and great stage presence !. He has brought authentic and NEW life back to the band that was certainly floundering when SP left !! He saved Journey --- as if NO Journey band is around doing shows/concerts-- the song dies along with the band as it happened to other popular bands around !! AP is not trying to be SP--- but he has to do his work as required when he was recruited --to sing exactly the Journey songs--to continue its legacy for years---and he did !! Journey rocks!!! Can't wait to see him again at the LIVE concert soon!
Arnel still rocks at 55 deymmm.. Im gald that his voice disnt damage whwn he was in addiction before... He never wasted the opportunity and he not wasted his gifted Talents no matter what. He still on the ground.. For he made his journey with the journey and make a name by himself of course with the help of Journey too..Arnel help journey to continue their journey and journey help Arnel to make a name and used his talent and not to be wasted. God really works in mysterious ways...
Even thou arnel is obviously successful fronting a world class band....IMHO he is still underrated. His voice is out of this world, best frontman this band ever had in my humble opinion

His voice sound with to much equalization, not natural, nice singer give journey a little more mileage but they're trying to reproduce steve voice with much equalization.
