FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Please read through these before leaving another one of the same 5 comments I get all the time:
Q: "Jumper 1st coin? You silly, 2:43 is the SECOND jumper coin."
A: Yes. I made a mistake. Dozens of comments have already made me aware of this.
Q: "Wait where's Cycles/ToE/Electrodynamix/Deadlocked/Fingerdash?"
A: I never said I was going through every level. The levels mentioned above just had coins that were good enough for me or ones that I didn't know how to improve.
Q: "What's up with the third coin of xStep? Isn't it just the regular route?"
A: I understand that this is confusing; the level shown for xStep's coins is actually a full-scale revamp of the level which teaches the blue pads and orbs better. The normal path has been repurposed into a coin path, and a different path has been made the intended one (note the yellow jump pad which leads to it and also makes the coin considerably harder to collect)
This is also subsequently the only one of these that you can play for yourself, here's an ID to the complete xStep revamp: 88425802
Q: "Where's the 2nd coin of Clubstep?"
A: It's over the blue jump pad that brings you back onto the main path. It's there, just hard to see because it's off-screen.
Some of these reworks definitely have a bad case of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it", but i digress. This was pretty dang fun to make regardless

Ok this video seems to have semi-blown up.
Normally, you'd expect me to ask you to subscribe, sieze my chance, but eh, I'd like you to consider that for a moment.
I don't JUST do geometry dash on this channel, in fact I'd consider it my secondary form of content. The primary form are auditory albums inspired by works of The Caretaker and the fan projects surrounding his work.
So if you're not interested in dementia music, and don't want that stuff to get mixed in with my occasional geometry dash video which you subbed for, then I'd say don't subscribe.
But if you don't mind that only like 30-40% of my content will be relevant to you, then go ahead.
It’s up to you.
You got a NEW SUB
Thats Actually the second coin in jumper

personalized subscriptions got us gd bois covered :)
Dude a lot of these are SO GOOD!! It's hard to pick a favorite since most of them are really well put together but Can't Let Go 3, Clutterfunk 2, and Geometrical Dominator 3 are def up there for me.
Also, I really like the decision to move some coins to completely different spots since it highlights some really cool potential that nobody has thought about before. Some of them (e.g. Jumper 1, Clubstep 2) seem like they obstruct the main route too much but the concept is good and for a vid like this that matters more
ayyy gd colon is here
I love gd cologne
As said on twitter, I am ecstatic that you found my humble little video. It blew up hard and honestly it was something I never asked for. If I'd known then I'd definitely have put way more effort in and made sure to give the stinkers some more thought.
Funnily enough I recently bought your plushie over on makeship, thought I'd give my favorite GD content creator some appreciation. What can I say, I just looove GD Cologne ;)
P.S.: The revamped coins of xStep were actually pulled from an older level of mine simply titled 'xStep Revamp', where the entire level is touched up a bit to teach the blue pads and orbs better, along with coins 2 and 3 being nicer. Here's the ID if you're interested: 88425802
i love gd cologne
The problem I have with the main levels is the difficulty curve. Base After Base is too easy to be Hard difficulty and Clutterfunk is too hard to be Insane difficulty. So that’s why I want to minibuff and mininerf Robtop levels to balance the difficulty.
"How to make GEDE COLOGNE happy in 1 second:"💀
Alovegdcologne
That second coin in Clutterfunk is SOOO CLEVER DUDE!! It ties in with the theme perfectly. Fantastic stuff!
I actually think the opposite bc of the weird start and it being very similar
Tysm dude!
Although my favorite would have to be Electroman 3rd, I REALLY love that one
@@Zenyx64 yeah that one’s also really great!
@@Zenyx64 Me too!
@ZenyX The Timestamp? Ok 4:36
I change my mind
4:31 Yo this one is insane, good job
Thanks a lot, I love it myself
I love how instead of using features that haven't already come out you use the features of the update and make them harder noice work 👍
:D
@@Zenyx64why did you forget about electrodynamix?
@@Zonk5290 the coins were good enough
@@Czar385I’d probably change the 3rd coin but I’m not sure what I’d change it to.
0:57 that sync tho
I like a lot of these, they actually utilize the mechanics introduced in their respective levels
Has no one noticed that he called the 2nd coin of jumper 1st?
Lol
Everyone has…
Yeah
Image it was always the 1st coin in the lvl
2:34 what do youmean it is more wonkyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
I feel like some of them have the “camera weirdness” issue like Time Machine and Clubstep and they might be hard to find too. They’re definitely still cool though
for the 1st and 2nd ones in clubstep i think you'd always be able to see the coin and think "hey, how can i get all the way over there" so then you try to find out how to get there
time machine's could use more indication though
@@skelet0ngamingIt’s mainly the first coin of Clubstep for me. It’s like Time Machine, you can’t really see the gameplay until too late, and you can’t tell where it is
@@atoll5944 no one is going to beat clubstep first try, so I don’t think it’s a huge issue.
@@pictureplanet1 it’s really about the fact that you have notice the coin during your run and you try to figure out how you would get it.
3:07 Lol, Now it's the 3rd coin from stereo madness
Even this 2:07
EVEN THIS??? 3:07
I noticed that these levels don’t have any replacement coins

I think TOE coins need a little more polishing

the second coin in xstep is so well made! goodjob for all this video! you earned a sub ❤
A sub and a like? Or just a sub
Man second coin in Hexagon Force is fire
One issue is that non-coin route is harder than coin route
yes its a bit of a timing
these coins take amazing accordance to gd colognes analysis, and executes it incredibly
amazing job!!
Honestly not a personal fan of most of these but your version of the third coin in Polargiest was actually good!
Cycles, Theory of Everything, Electrodynamix, Deadlocked, Fingerdash, Press Start, Nock Em, Power Trip: am I a joke to you
It’s because most of them have absolute 10/10 coins
Weirdly I love the way you
Did these!
nice video, i feel like some of these could be nerfed somewhat or could be put in a spot where less building has to be done to compensate for the coin but overall cool ideas :)
wow this is very interesting and enjoyable! Interesting content
It’s copied probably
The 3rd coin in Time Machine was a game changer for me. I'd love to see that one in the official level.
some adjustments in my opinion:
get rid of the 2nd orb in polargiest revamp, it looks really messy
maybe add another indicator into time machine
i like the 3rd coin in base after base because now you have a challenge instead of just holding
But I hate that the only fact that you can enter it is through a hole
Really nice coins! Only things are that some coin paths take you away from main route a lot, a few blindish jumps and some very difficult coins on easy levels, but they are great still good job
W for making the xStep 3rd coin not blind for no reason 🔥
If you'd like to experience my entire revamp of xStep, go to my profile (ZenyXcz) and play the level xStep revamped. It was altered to teach the blue pads and orbs better, and it's also where I pulled the 2 coin revamps from for this video
a hot take but Electroman Adventures' 2nd Coin actually syncs really nicely to the song
For me, Base After Base's first coin has you recover with an orb, second keeps gravity portals, but has you stay upside down till the end of the black background, and third do a straightfly into the wall.
It’s a good one but it’s a bit too hard for base after base. It would probably be in like jumper.
A straightly? How tight? Full spike or mini spike?
The only levels not being here are Cycles, Theory Of Everything the first, Electrodynamix, Deadlocked, Fingerdash and Subzero Levels.
Jumper is 2nd and not a 1st, i digress tho. Good vid!
Yo these are awesome!
This is really good placement, good job!
I love these coin placements honestly
they are extremely unique and more challenging to get than the originals
really like how the getting the key syncs with the music :D 6:29
Nice. I really like the new coin placements. However, one of your new placements is kinda odd.
I disapprove of Clubstep's new second coin. The orbs that were initially meant to be fake but were changed for the purpose of getting a coin is exactly why Clubstep's first coin was bad. Doing the same thing with the second coin but making it snazzier doesn't make it better. And again, coin route is easier than normal route. (I don't know why but sometimes it doesn't let me go on the the first platform below cuz i hit the blue orb too early.)
Clubstep's first coin. It's actually to get the coin instead of trying not to.
nice vid bruh
good job bro i like it
For the dry out one, i think there could be a tiny indicator, but not like a massivearrow
When I was new to GD I noticed as much as the spring to know something fishy was going on. I am pretty sure the spring that barely appears is a good enough indicator.
I know a good first coin revamp in Time Machine, the first glitch jump at the start will be a key, and the original first coin will still be there, but the way to get it will be blocked, but you can get it with the key.
one of the things i did was remove features from future updates in early levels
you just undid what i was trying to do
Man the back on track 2nd coin revamp is getting into the stereo mandess Reference
GD Colon Accepts!
This is super clever
Second xStep coin looks really creative
Finally, some original content for Geometry dash✌️❤️
I also did revamp the coins in the main levels (except the actual good ones) I even did gd meltdown and added one coin per lvl in world.
those fixed coins are made so well 👍
The time machine 3rd coin and Clubstep 2nd coin would be a wild twist if it was in the game
Yeah, those were on another level tbh
3:47 ok, but this is actually a really creative take on size changing gimmick
3:48 that’s a creative coin!
he made alot of coins revamped what was already perfect for me like making that hard buff for a cant let go lvl is crazyy
At the clubstep second coin, its pretty hard to see if i get the coin, airborne robots first coin is good enough for my taste, the seven seas second coin is pretty clever id say especially the clutterfunk second coin
For the second coin of Viking Arena, you should do when you get the key, the original path is blocked so that you cant miss the coin. (it may be complicated to understand)
@@dj_qdh no
The second coin of Viking Arena is the one where you fall through the wall with a hint at where you fall (He gave it an S)
Damn nice video youre making me consider making another channel for gd content
Well, I liked most of the coins but I have a problem with a few of them for the same reason. I just think that the 2nd coin in back on track, the 3rd coin in base after base, and the 3rd coin in Time Machine are just so similar to the 3rd coin in stereo madness.
Ya
Some of them still feel blind to me, but I have a skill issue. Anyways these are some pretty dope revamps, but the alternate ending for Time Machine is over the top lol
you’ve done the world a favor.
So this has been 3 month ago and i see that THE GRAVITY PORTAL IS UPSIDE DOWN. 3:06
that 3rd coin in Time Machine is so fucking clever, I really loved this video. But do u think robtop can actually update these coins to be the same concept as this one?
1:06 This is why the third coin is hard in original.
I hope gd cologne likes your coins placement
i did not know humans can turn into a type of spray
I still think the second coin in hexagon force could use some improvement, but great job
True, especially since it looks like the normal route looks harder to pass now.
According to all known laws of Geometry Dash physics, there is no was a ship should be able to fly; Its engine is too weak to get the fat icon off the ground. The ship, of course, flies anyway, because ships don't care what Robtop thinks is impossible.
I can wait the revamped bad coins in geometry dash subzero
That time machine coin is perfection!
if this change happens in the official geometry dash, subzero's levels will not be the only ones who will get their coin locations changed
i looooove gd cologne
This reminds me of all the alternative completions of Mozart's unfinished Requiem. People are trying to fix the shortcomings of the traditional completion (or sometimes replace the parts entirely)
Edit: Some of the newer completions are much better than the traditional completion.
I swear to god I remember a coin on the last memory part of blast processing
I really want to play these. Can you please tell me if they're uploaded onto the servers, plus IDs for all of them please?
Personally, my revamp of the first coin in Clubstep was removing the fake wall entirely and adding a timed jump like Colon suggested
I don't think the fall to 1st hole thing for the first SM coin is necessary, if anything the two-way access of the og coin plays nicely into the overall freedom SM offers.
Wow, a lot of coins are really clever now! You should now do the opposite! (Making good coins of officials level really bad)
You gave me a video idea…
Hopefully this is the last time I change my mind.
*Stereo Madness*
1st Coin: B (Nearly the same difficulty as the normal path.)
*Back On Track*
1st Coin: A
2nd Coin: S (The alternate path is fine because it feels different from Stereo Madness.)
*Polargeist*
2nd Coin: A
3rd Coin: A (This didn't change anything about my opinion but I wish you kept the pad. Maybe change it to a yellow one.)
*Dry Out*
1st Coin: A
*Base After Base*
1st Coin: A (I wasn't sure about the difficulty at first but it's only around 20% into the level so it's fine.)
2nd Coin: S (Awesome usage of those floating spike blocks!)
3rd Coin: B (Feels too similar to Stereo Madness' 3rd Coin)
*Cant Let Go*
1st Coin: A
3rd Coin: S (It looks cool.)
*Jumper*
2nd Coin: C (This coin feels too easy for people to stumble into collecting. It's a step up because the blind jump is gone.)
*Time Machine*
3rd Coin: A (The route itself is great but I think it's too hidden. I'd leave the coin in sight.)
*XStep*
2nd Coin: S (I love -GD Colon- the blue pads being repurposed for this coin.)
3rd Coin: A
*Clutterfunk*
2nd Coin: S
3rd Coin: A
*Electroman Adventures*
2nd Coin: A
3rd Coin: S (My personal favourite. Such a simple change yet it's so much better!)
*Clubstep*
1st Coin: B (I'm not sure if you can see the coin or not. If you can then I'd be glad to give this an A.)
2nd Coin: F (I recreated this coin and I think it's easier than the main path. You shouldn't be rewarded for falling for a trap.)
*Hexagon Force*
2nd Coin: F (Easier than the main path again.)
3rd Coin: A
*Blast Processing*
3rd Coin: A
*Theory Of Everything 2*
3rd Coin: A
*Geometrical Dominator*
3rd Coin: A- (It's a nice use of the buttons but I'm not sure if it's THAT much harder than the main path.)
*The Seven Seas*
2nd Coin: A- (Again, not sure if it's harder than the main path.)
*Viking Arena*
1st Coin: A
3rd Coin: C (I think people would still stumble into collecting this coin.)
*Airborne Robots*
1st Coin: B (The key is still pointless.)
2nd Coin: A
Wow! An actually clever and well formatted comment on this video! It gets pretty demoralizing with all the idiotic comments left by 10 year olds, 50% of which just say "it's the second jumper coin bruh" and leave.
I appreciacte this, and definitely agree with your remarks. It's really nice to see someone who is as pleased with the 3rd electroman coin as I was when I made it. I would also like to formally apologize for bringing the "revamped" 2nd clubstep coin unto this cursed world.
@@Zenyx64Also you forgot coin 1 in Polargeist, It got an F
@@Nothinghere00006 IDGAF that it got an F
It's perfect in my eyes.
Back on Track 2nd coin, Base after Base 3rd coin, and Time Machine 3rd coin are very similar to Stereo Madness official 3rd coin.
Are you planning to release these levels with the new coins? Because I really want to try out these new coins.
Cool bro.
If that was in there, they would call this is the hardest in 2013
Bro, you just changed these levels fully 💀
5:03 that kind of destroys the meaning of fake pathways in the original version, it is still cool though
the particles that remain after the cube are amazingly beautiful🤩
I revamped the crappy circle in the thumbnail ( no offense tho great vid! )
5:29
Is noone gonna talk about how clever this coin is?
dude this makes me wanna do clubstep with new coins
there may be many others but ill give some examples of coins that you say are bad but are actually ok. first coin of stereo madness and second polaegeist coin are both alright. there not too much more difficult than the normal path and have a decent recovery
Some of these are great improvements, but look and feel really janky to pull off in a regular run. I'm also not a fan of the excessively difficult entrances to coins when the actual routes are pretty tame. Overall an okay improvement, but could have been done much cleaner.
Next video: I revamped bad coins in every rated levels
My favorite one was the alternate path one in Time Machine.
if i had a nickle for every time a caretaker creator had a geometry dash thing blow up over the caretaker stuff i'd have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot but it's still weird it happened twice
Making back on track to stereo madness
4:14 I like how the theory of everything 1 dosen't have any bad coins
Congratulations! You have enough braincells to realize that any levels not included in the video aren't ones I "forgot about" and that they just had good coins.
You don't realize how many people you're already smarter than. This comment section is chaos and I should probably just stop checking notifications from it but whatever.
Same as with cycles, electrodynamix, deadlocked, and fingerdash.
So, I feel like Base After Base is too easy to be the fifth level, so I kinda want to minibuff the level to balance the difficulty curve.
3:06 loved the replacement of time machine’s 3st coin because I hate the blind jump at the original version :/
"3st"💀
For the 2nd coin in The Seven Seas, I would close up the wall entirely and move the coin a bit to the right, making players do a ship fling to the roof.
I did somewhat think of that, because I checked if it was possible to cheese the coin that way.
But I think that's too hard for what is supposed to be a first level
@@Zenyx64 in that case, i would move it to the right a bit more then
Can someone tell where the modified second coin for Clubstep is, cuz I don’t see it. And what about Polargeist’s first coin?
Edit: Also, where can I find these levels?
The last coin in base after base is a demon 😂
GENIUS 🤯🤯🤯
The Clubstep coins I can agree with the replacements but not what they were replaced with. The 2nd coin was fine imo so it didn't need to be replaced and what it was replaced with wasn't good. The first coin is not good in the main level but it was replaced by one that was worse.
Second coin sucks but the first coin I did pretty damn good on I'd say. It's clever, it's difficult, it's deceptive, and you have just enough time to process the gameplay.
The 3rd coin in base after base and 3rd coin in time machine makes me happy
S TIER.
3:06 I like coin route that involved completely alternate ending. But, it seems no hints about it, unlike in stereo madness.
I don’t know what the hint could be but this is in desperate need of one.
When you fixed the 2nd coin of back on track you made it like the 3rd coin in stereo madness
Honestly, the third coin changed in Time Machine is also kind of blind gameplay
2:43 that was 2nd coin isn't it?
