Just for say, cipher /w:X does NOT shred a USB stick, although after graceful eject. Data was be recovered.

I would not use registry cleaners and as for ccleaner, its a popular program for cleaning junk files from the system, windows 10 can do that itself with built in tools.

If you are not in the mood to change registry or like that : I solved this problem without going to registry or like that...make it short...each time I connect the sandisk to my desktop all deleted flash drive files come back ...solution : let them come back, delete them again ...add your favorite music files or whatever and eject your sandisk from your desktop...at this time there are no flash drive files there and you can play all those music in your car radio system (usb port) with no problem...the moment you connect your sandisk to your desktop again all those flash drive files come back...don't worry, repeat what I said above

I did the CCleaner drive wipe 3 passes. Recuva was able to recover 25 files.
Did you do full format first, then ccleaner?
After unchecking the quick format when all items are deleted ,do you check the quick format Box to start again

ccleaner can't clean ssd, only for mechanical drive ,so i use heidi eraser ,but after use it for a few time only ,it can't be opened anymore ,when i right click on the disk volume in this pc ,most of the time will take at least >20 seconds ,sometime >30 >40 to showup

None of these methods or any other I've found will clear this thumb drive. It will allow me to transfer the files, or add files but it won't let me delete the files once they're on it.

Btw overwriting it multiple times is pointless 1 time will overwrite it well and it's impossible to recover

Why not use diskpart and use the clean function?
Yes you can use diskpart, you can use what ever you like
Using ccleaner while proceeding with ERASE command it show this could not performed because of an I/O device error !!! Please do give me a solution !!!!!!!!
