I almost always play without plugging in. I live in an apartment and I have neighbors above, below, and to both sides. Headphones are good sometimes too. I have a 12 string acoustic that I wont play past 10pm because it's so loud, even when I play softly.

I get very frustrated with his technique not saying he wasnt my hero when I was a kid because for some reason if I didnt listen to Zeppelin in the morning my day went to hell.

RUclips has an app that scans videos for audio and takes them down and can block the users account. Yeah it’s frustrating because I can’t get a feel for it when it’s explained so slowly and then I don’t know what to play and it’s already on the next part
The whole part of it is that when he is doing the rhythm during the solo he does A G F. So that note always lands on the F coming up the A pentatonic scale that's the brilliance of it all. Pretty awesome though.

It’s truly a staple in guitar solo history. Anyone who plays electric or guitar at all, needs this in their list. With out it, you’re just not the same haha
In that 3rd pentatonic run down from 1st string 5th fret (A), it is a whole lot easier to go back 1 step to the F on the 4th string 3rd fret instead of your pinky on the same F on the 5th string 8th fret. This way you are already in position to do the slide from 5th to 7th fret on the 4th(D) string. At 5:41 in the video.

good for you!
just start on the solo, it will come in time, just keep after it!
I was playing for about 5 months when i started learning the sweet child o mine solo and it was hard at first but it really helped me learn later on so i would recomend trying it
note: much easier to play the opening lick if you bar across 5th fret 1-4
Do you have the rhythm guitar part under the guitar solo?
I just got the best simply guitar ad ever😂
8:17 whenever i bend (specially quickly like this), the strings above always end up making sounds :( how can i fix this?
I think it’s called palm muting
thanks carl for this good video
Can someone please tell me the amp settings for this sound?
Ok!! now its time to learn this solo properly....:) Thnx Carl....;)
Great! You're the best teacher b y f a r !!!
Thank you for work
Brilliant ... Thanks for posting
What effects do you have to use?
None. A small over driven valve amp, or get a distortion pedal such as a tube screamer.
awesome lesson
excellent once again thanks
quel réglage d'ampli utilisez-vous? s'il vous plaît aidez!
great explanation. great examples . really good vid. thanks for these valuable lessons from this awesome song👍 now i only need to get to the hardest part; the solo. pfff. what a drag for a rhythm guitar player ...
Every time I play it whether I do pull offs or pick every note it sounds choppy. Any suggestions?
