I believe somewhere in the high 5’ range. I just seen him at a surf competition this past weekend and he was a few inches shorter than me (im 6’).

While I agree on principle and aesthetics, if Kai Sallas, who almost never wears a leash, is wearing one during this contest, there must be some larger strategic reason. I mean, half of Kai's boards don't even have leash plugs.
