I think you should change your configuration and buy a new laptop..
For coding and all stuffs its pretty good but when it comes to learning new technologies like Android App Dev etc, you should get min i5 configured Laptop.
For start you don't need to buy new one

nishant, do you feel that english speaking skill are equally important as coding skills. And how much you english is needed, Or is it okay to speak in Hindi during meetings
Well I must say you will be dealing with US counterpart most of the time so speaking IN English is very much necessary. Thats what called as communication skills which you need to work in any MNC.
It is important as you’ll be working with a number of people not all of them are comfortable in hindi
