Honda Civic Type R Rallycar - Awesome sound

- Recorded in november of 2009. In the beginning of the video there is a Peugeot 207, and a Subaru Impreza just so that you can compare them to the fantastic sound of the Mighty Type R. Enjoy!
I got the fn2 and i am a self confessed high revving sound addict. If i don't hear these sounds every day from my engine i am not a happy bunny : )
There is NOTHING like the Sound of Honda's engines, compared to anything else, at the same level, at STOCK form.
Take the Stock K20A, or any older B Series, and find me something that sounds better. Nothing.
Having said that, this Civic sounds like a bee. Pure, High Revving Honda Sound.
Civic high-pitched sound is best.

@matthewruss That we can certainly agree upon :-) yup the WRC Focus is a cool car. I have never had the pleasure of experiencing one irl though. Denmark is just to small to have that kind of cars in the lineup for the danish championships.
@Toyotoys i have never said that it sounds more agressive, just that it sounds good. If you don't agree.... no problem, that's just my oppinion as well as alot of others.
@Toyotoys Its because half the civics on the street got an B or K engine, which are a bit loud, but for a good reason...
Show me one engine, that spins till almost 10K and still delivers torque and is not noisy.
It hasn't got ABS. It is the dif locker trying to stop the two front wheels from rotating at different speeds, because one of the wheels locks up when he brakes for that corner.
The seq gearbox build is probably worth more than ur sti alone. These are rally spec cars and your STI stock or even slightly modified just wont cut it.

@pelsification have u ever traveled 2 the nearest wrc event 2 u, its well worth the trip, im fortunated 2 live a short walk from 2 wrc stages in wales hehe, watch tour of epynt and swansea bay rally vidoes on here, shows the local talent we have on tarmac and gravel :-)

@matthewruss Lol the other ones sound like a 90s Opel Astra or something. The Type R sounds way better and is faster and better than that Peugeot and Subaru

I have owned a 2004 Subaru WRX, and now own a 2011 Civic Si, and I can attest that while the civic sounds aggressive, it's sound level does not match it's performance. Slow car, but fun nonetheless. Subaru will always be classed higher.

you must be fucking crazy!! the gonda engine is way more mad in higher revs than the subaru, the subaru has way more torque and it is way more easy to control.
it is like saying that the ls7 engine sounds more agressive than the zx6r engine
