This is one of the best video and you always helps other people out and showing how it works and wish lexx mxe has Fastway exhaust tip of any colours and Ive always love watch your videos is best thing on motos and quads are fun to ride
These are great bikes, bought one for my wife in 2014 and its perfect for her first ever bike, I got her the big wheel version which is perfect for her at 5ft 3 120lbs. My only complaint is these are cold blooded bikes because they run very lean from the factory.
i got mine for 100 dollars. during covid from a marine in tn. parts where hard to get during lockdown. i got it running a while a go? i about ate shit sorta in some gravel across my house. BEST BIKE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Another great video RM! Thanks for not forgetting the young riders. I transitioned my 10 yr old from a TTR 110 to a CRF 125 last year and very happy with the bike. Wanted to get him on a clutch bike ASAP and this has about the lowest seat height you can get. Very forgiving and difficult to stall. I will disagree with the jetting suggestion for anyone at higher altitudes. In Denver I had to drop 2 jet sizes (leaner) to clean it up.
keith, glad you liked the video. The 110 to the 125 would be a great transition bike. You went down in jet sizes? Dang! Glad you got it how you needed it! Thanks for watching.
Just wanted to say thank you for doing these videos. Please keep them coming. Are you guys planning a video on juniors first ever bike? Like the comparisons between the pw 50 and ttr 50 and crf 50 and what heights work best? Love your work and keep it up! 👊✊👊✊
To people who may want to buy this bike. Dont let they hight scare you away. Im 6,2 and i have the standard version and it sits just fine. Not at all uncomferteble or something
But seriously can you do an updated 4 stroke valve education and replacement video, the original has Z E R O info on fitting the seats to the new valves and how all that good stuff works
Yes, any 7/8" handlebars will work on these bikes just fine. However, converting a regular CRF125F to a big wheel is not easy and would require much more work that just swapping the wheels. The forks, shock and swingarm would all need to be changed.
Unfortunately, they are out of stock for the CRF125F right now, but you can click the link below and get signed up to be emailed when the FMF Mini Power Core 4 is back in stock. www.rockymountainatvmc.com/parts/fmf-mini-power-core-iv-system-p
Did you guys remove the tamper proof cap over the fuel screw? I installed the Tusk cold start kit on my CRF125F, and I have a hard time adjusting the idle now. Runs irregular idle..
Stay away from those Chinese bikes. Trust me. Get something reliable. Look on offer up for a ttr 125. Those go for $500-$1200. Really recommend that bike. Hey and don't get me wrong Those Apollo's look cool and all but in the long run they are garbage and low quality.
Assuming you keep the 13 tooth front sprocket, a 46 tooth would only be 3 teeth smaller than the stock sprocket so 2 links shorter than your stock chain is all you should need. All the chains we carry for that bike are 118 link so most likely you'll have the stock size chain and will just need to shorten it a couple links.
The spark plug is located on top of the cylinder. The bike in this video is carburated but Honda got rid of carburetors in 2019 so every bike after that will use a fuel injection system.
@@rmatvmc So if i buy 2020 bike it has electric fuel injector/fuel injector? And when your bike or car has fuel injector it starts easier with cold am i right?
@@hyposez1129 Yes, that is correct. The 2020 model will come with fuel injection which does make cold starts quicker and easier as well as giving you better throttle response.
hey, is this the 2019 version? EFI or carb one. Me and my dad spent the long weekend fixing a 2003 xr100, and the engine died and my neighbor who sold it to me is checking if it is just the timing belt. if the engine is dead, i am thinking about getting one of the 2019 crf125fb bikes.
