Hire Louis Riddick as the next GM and Brian Flores or Mike Vrabel as the next HQ.
Riddick is currently an NFL and college analyst with "football" connections.
I watched Riddick call a college game last weekend with Bob Wischusen. He’s extremely knowledgeable and has front-office experience.
Riddick would know which college players to draft and which NFL free agents to sign because he has watched them play and spoken to them as a game-day analysis.
I'm not a Jets fan but Flores is garbage and Riddick nobody seems to want

Honestly Glenn just seems different though, I just feel like he’s the best guy to do the job. You could have a great offensive coordinator but if he hires a bad defensive coach it’s the same mess. You need a head coach with great leadership
We were 2-3 when Saleh was fired. Really bad timing decision. The season was still there for the Jets. Say what you will about Saleh, but he kept the ship together. Ulbrich is stretched too thin

No he was not. Salah week three denied Ulbrich an interview with the 49ers because he wanted that job. That is why he was released. I'm sure Douglas wanted to save him but Woody was not having anything to do with that. Woody and Rogers wanted Hackett to be the head coach but Douglas wanted Ulbrich. Woody gave Douglas to the BI to prove him self one last time. Soon as Douglas knew there was no return he traded Williams. Ulbrich will resign or step down and be the DC again and hackett will take over HC.

Woody took control, fired Saleh, elevated Brick, and Joe Douglas checked out, but Woody still expected him to manage the team. When JD lost the kicker to KC, it was the last straw for Woody.
We have to remember that Woody DID'NT hire JD or Saleh, it was Christopher!
When Rodgers won back to back mvp. Organization was stable, roster was young w/vets, the playcall and coaching on the offense was so much better. The packer ran college football roster redshirt rookies and play veteran unless rookies able to overtake veteran. Packer was draft and develop team. They invest young player. Jets never able to figure out how to develop and coach players and organization never been to playoff since Rex was the hc.
It's not going to matter who your GM or Coach is if you do not have a team philosophy. The Steelers have been great my whole lifetime because their philosophy is to run the ball and play defense. What's happened to the Jets is that they have never declared an organizational football philosophy. One year they want to be a running team, next year they want to be a passing team, then a defensive team, then an offensive team. What happened with the Salah/Douglas team is they declared the defense to be a defensive speed team. Football is a strength game. The speed game will not work in the long run, playoff teams run the ball and play defense, the passing game is secondary. Football is easy, winning is done by running the ball and playing defense. The OL and DL need to have bulk, not speed. The LB need to have brains and some speed. The DB's need to stay with the receivers and let the DL and LB do their jobs. Offense -just run the ball and use the clock. It's no rocket science.
Everyone talks about the talent on this team, but the truth is they have NO OL. If the offensive line was good, they would be 8-3 or better. Why is this so hard to see?
Call me crazy, but could it be that Woody fired Saleh and Douglas during the season to give himself more time to hire a GM/coach? I think if they hire them sooner rather than later that might be the difference between Rodgers staying or going. But just food the thought, We let Favre sign with the Vikings after we all said he was done and all he did was throw 30+ TDs and less than 10 picks. I for one want Rodgers back. At the end of the day he's on pace for 3800-4K yards passing with a out 28-32 TDs @ a 63% completion rate to about 10 picks..... and that's with a crappy offense!!! The amount of people who want to blow it up and let him go baffles me.

Who's the one person who has not been fired who matters the most to Rodgers. The media again playing games, keeping the fans on a hook. Hackett is all Rodgers needs to return . Once Ulbrich resigns this week or next Hackett will take over and the Jets will run the table convincing Johnson and the fans to run it back.

Can't the Jests finally hire someone who has actual winning head coaching experience? Sure no super bowls, but at least they were in the playoffs most years and competed, something barely seen around here in nearly a generation.
