Thanks for the Video of Golden Temple Nomac. I just wanted to let you know @ 16:16 as he was trying to say 1am and he got confused and said 1 pm but at from midnight to early morning like 3 or 4 there might be a shorter line but usually it’s a wait for minimum 30 minutes to several hours in almost every part of the day.
Indian State stormed this place with their military in 1984, killing Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale and the Khadku Saheeds, they also attacked other Gurudwaras in Panjab and killed, raped, burnt and tortured innocents, this is known in our history as Jang Hind Panjab 1984 (India Panjab War of 1984)
I love your videos ....great job, especially one about the Golden Temple. Quick question: I'm a street musician that plays and sings classical piano and guitar All around europe and the u s a. do you think I could set up With a small portable piano, amp and guitar in that pedestrian zone In the area of the golden temple put destiny on? Did you see any musicians there? Is it possible that all music is prohibited in that area? I watch men of your videos and I don't see too many Street musicians. What's your observation in comments please. Thank you in advance for your help
There are 4 entrances to the Sri Harmandir Sahib which is to signify that anyone and everyone is welcome and entitled to rest, listen to the hymns, and have a free meal and drink. The 4 entrances represent everyone is welcome regardless of religion, caste, colour, gender, faith, belief, etc. Shame on the Indian government thought, they've been trying to make the Gurudwara pay tax, even though they don't help with any of the funding and all the money comes from Sikh communities all over the world and donations from the pilgrims. The government is trying to class the Golden Temple as a business rather than a place of worship for their own greed. But as Sikhs, we simply will never let that happen. When Sikhs unite, Sikhs always win. Just like the farmers protest. Couldn't watch the Jallian Walla Bhaag but, just too heartbreaking, but I have been there twice in person. We have to honour and respect our hero, the one who avenged, Shaeed-e-Azaam Sardar Udham Singh.
I don’t think he came there to realy do darshan of Guru Sahib Most of the Non-Sikhs and foreigners come to darbar Sahib to just click pictures They don’t really care about History or spiritualism.
Hey Mac, I have a question unrelated to this video. I'm travelling to Lebanon this month and was wondering about the currency situation. Do you know if it's possible to pay in Euros or Dollars there. If not, do you recommend taking cash with in order to exchange on the black market? Also do you have any recommendations for a hostel in Beirout?
There's no Black Market there as per my knowledge or maybe as its an Arabic Country I guess, just exchange currency in your country airport as ATMs will charge you lot of transaction fees and if you have Credit Card (Tap or Swipe), which also have Transaction fees. But carrying cash is good option as you don't need to bear transaction fees. And, I recommend Hostel or Airbnb
@@thewanderer4638 thanks for your reply! I understood from an earlier video by Mac and his friend that there is black market currency exchange going on there but can't seem to find the video now..
@@j_dogg9601 Don't go for that, as you don't know what trouble will follow you right.. Always exchange in airport of your country or thier country.. Where you get good rates exchange there.. 😊
Hey 👋 Yes, it’s possible to pay in Dollars in most places but do make sure the bills are not ripped or got any marks on them, they need to be clean for them to accept it. Further, you can exchange Euros or Dollars at Western Union OMT branches! You can find it in almost every city in Lebanon!!🙏🏻
Hi just to let you know 1. Its not golden temple, it is Sri Darbar Sahib Amritsar. There are other places in world where golden plates have been installed on top of building. Gold was donated by a King in 1830AD, but Darbar Sahib was build in 1604AD. Means that 226 years it was called Sri Darbar Sahib Amritsar. When someone calls its a golden temple, it looses the concept of Darbar Sahib, writen in Holy Scripture Sri Guru Granth Sahib. 2. Its not Tourist attraction. It is Spiritual centre for the World.

U should also have to visit gold temple main gurudawara at night time, that was a amazing
short summary of what we Sikhs believe
*main believe of Sikhism*
in sikhi or as the western called it Sikhism 😊 in Sikhism we believe in one God as.. guru nanak ji first fonder of sikhi and the prophet of Sikhism said there is no Muslims or Hindu or Christians there is only one God.. *i later explain why* ...and a sikh means a learner and and guru the teacher.. know the last guru is guru granth sahib(11 guru) or in English holy book..... as the 10 guru have written down Everything for Sikhs to follow and said now the Sikhs will learn from guru granth sahib and gurudwara are our temples... it is only a gurudwara because it has copy of the guru granth sahib in it..... ( gurudwara means a doorway to guru)
ABOUT GOD (*here is the explanation*)
we believe that there is one God but people give God different names and ...people worship God in from of statues like Hindu worship statue they have give God a face a gender and the in Islam they have given God a name(even though Allah just means god in Arabic language but they say saying things like allah is the only god) and saying God lives in heaven but we believe God is everywhere it is creater of reality and is reality itself
*Are all Gods same?*
yes it is the same God but people interpretation of God is different and through guru teaching we will connect with God (side note guru is same as prophet) there are two kinds of sikhs one are sikh the one that cut hair and don't follow the guru teaching but still believe in god....and the gurusikhs (every Sikh end goal is to become a gurusikh) the one who follow the guru teaching.. a.k.a the khalsa the people who carry the little knife and wear the 5ks
1 kirpan (a small curved sword of any size, shape or metal to protect themselves and anyone in need)
2 kesh (unshorn hair and beard)
3 kangha (a comb usually wooden to symbol clearness)
4 kara (a bracelet, usually made of iron or steel to symbol the infinite of God)
5 kachera (an undergarment)
Khalsa means pure and only the khalsa are allowed to carry the little knife
WHAT HELL AND HEAVEN IN SIKHISM
well to simplify we don't believe in hell ...as the world we live in is hell we just reincarnation over and over again until we get ego free and until bad karma get cleaned and then go to heaven ....like if you have like lots of bad krama you just reincarnation into animals over and over as animals have souls like we do everything is equally in God eyes the first guru nanak ji said that there are 84 lakh animals form the worst of the worst will reincarnation into before they are reincarnation into a human being again if you don't have a lot of bad karma but you didn't connect with God then you reincarnation into human beings again and this time you will reincarnation into a religious family
*you have any questions ask me*
side note the name waheguru is what sir guru nanak jev ji called god but guru nanak ji did say that people give him different names as when God is described in guru granth sahib it is written in number like it is written Ek Onkar meaning one God or the number 1 but people need a name to chant and pray to that why guru nanak ji give a name to God the name waheguru meaning wonders Lord... that why name waheguru was given.... thought I should explain it clearly
Thankyou & very warm welcome to our land punjab❤

On October 27, 2023, I was at this Golden Temple…
It’s beautiful ❤
Indian State stormed this place with their military in 1984, killing Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale and the Khadku Saheeds, they also attacked other Gurudwaras in Panjab and killed, raped, burnt and tortured innocents, this is known in our history as Jang Hind Panjab 1984 (India Panjab War of 1984)
Hellooooo mac how re you .I hope you re enjoying in punjab

I love your videos ....great job, especially one about the Golden Temple.
Quick question: I'm a street musician that plays and sings classical piano and guitar All around europe and the u s a.
do you think I could set up With a small portable piano, amp and guitar in that pedestrian zone In the area of the golden temple put destiny on?
Did you see any musicians there?
Is it possible that all music is prohibited in that area?
I watch men of your videos and I don't see too many Street musicians.
What's your observation in comments please. Thank you in advance for your help
Nope you can’t do that and you don’t see people busking for money in India it’s not something they do
Haii love from India
Love back to India!!
Beautiful 😍
God bless all
Thank you 🙏🏻
Big appreciation for aman and raman 😊
Wonderful
Thank you!❤️🙏🏻
hey r u in Amritsar
Welcome punjab
U should visit to the main darbar of golden temple , that is a breathtaking view , don't miss that
I don’t think he came there to realy do darshan of Guru Sahib
Most of the Non-Sikhs and foreigners come to darbar Sahib to just click pictures
They don’t really care about History or spiritualism.

Best time to visit golden temple is early morning 6 o' clock
And night time too
8 o' clock in my opinion. It looks so beautiful in the night with all the lights.
Hey 👋
Yes, it’s possible to pay in Dollars in most places but do make sure the bills are not ripped or got any marks on them, they need to be clean for them to accept it. Further, you can exchange Euros or Dollars at Western Union OMT branches! You can find it in almost every city in Lebanon!!🙏🏻
@@worldnomac that's really good to know, thanks! I'll probably just bring 50/50 dollars and euros and exchange the euros for lire at some point
Please more video bro

Those guys knew nothing!! I wish I was there to tell you everything ‼️
So much ignorance about sikhism and one guy is wearing turban. Expecting at least to tell some basic about sikhism.
@@Delhi_Guy Exactly!
Hi just to let you know
HELLO MACK !!, ALWAYS VERY NICE VIDEO VLOG MACK , I HOPE YOU ARE HAVING A GOOD TIME IN INDIA, HOPE YOU VISIT THE PUNJAB AGAIN , GREAT WORK MACK, 👍 GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU 🙌👐🌺💓🥰🙏
