I finished dishes, cleaned the dishwasher, and cleaned the cabinets under the sink.
Hi Lauren so motivating to see your cleaning videos. Regarding babie’s outgrowing clothes, look for any of your friend or relatives who may have a son few years elder to him and may have saved the clothes. I am doing that with my second child
Don't purchase any toys that have a hole in them to squeeze water out! They harbor black mold and are disgusting. Be sure to get toys that are completely sealed.
Do you shop thrift stores for clothes for Oliver? So many cute clothes and prices are much cheaper!

Skip expensive bath toys. Give him empty containers and bottles. Buy some funnels and plastic tubing. Ping pong balls are fun. Measuring cups, ladles…..basters. All wonderful for fine motor development
May I suggest you send an email to any of Oliver's birthday guests and suggest that rather than toys to give him clothes/pajamas or what ever he needs in whatever size he is going in to. People like direction when it comes to kids gifts. This way he won't get toys he won't play with or doesn't need. Just a thought!
Hey! A game changer for me when emptying trash cans is to keep the entire roll of bags at the bottom of every trash can. It just saves you time from having to get a new bag from the kitchen and take it to every trash can in the house.
I would love to do that but sometimes something leaks or doesn’t make it in the bag or something and some mystery juice is at the bottom of our trash can and I wouldn’t want my entire roll of bags floating in the garbage juice. 🤢
It's ridiculous to buy babies/toddlers brand new clothes. Thrift stores are the way to go
We don’t like everything used. Especially shoes! Blek! Lol but we do like to secondhand shop for some things!
That is their business and their money. I wouldn’t want my child in sec hand clothes or shoes.
My kids always loved to play with measuring cups, funnels, plastic cups, bowls anything like that in the tub. They loved pouring water from one thing to another. We also got the foam letters and numbers that stick to the wall when wet, they learned what each were and learned to make words. Have a great week!!!
! have always used a mattress pad with a plastic liner underneath. Mattresses are so expensive, you need to protect them.
I don’t like Halloween either Lauren, not my vibe. I did a little when I had littles, now I just do fall. 🍁 I am dreaming of Christmas 🎄 decor! Oh Lauren that mattress cover is brutal! 😆 I have one that is just like a fitted sheet style, so much easier.

When my kids were little, I was on a super tight budget for them. I hit up the consignment shops. When they grew out of what I bought, I gave them back to the shops. There are some great bargains in there, and they are owned by locals.
So true. I was a regular at once upon a child between both my kids. Such a lifesaver and made some extra cash.

I managed to get my bedroom deep cleaned after having COVID. I am taking my lil girl to the pumpkin patch this weekend.
Thrift stores and Consignment shops are the best places to shop for gently used clothes and shoes for kids. Especially when they are growing that fast. Hopefully his pace will slow up a bit soon!

My son loves bath paint and crayons! I can usually find the paint in the dollar section at target. It’s super easy to clean off of the tub too!
My plumber told me not to use the liquid dishwasher soap. He said it will ruin the rubber seal around the door
I filmed a video last week to go up next week where I basically said almost the same thing about Halloween. 😆 I said I love Fall decor, but not so much Halloween.

Hi Lauren, you’re really so right! It doesn’t make sense to purchase expensive Nike tennis shoes and expensive clothes for little ones, at least at this stage. They just grow out of them before they can even use them half the time. I started going to consignment sales for my twins. You can still get nice things that are hardly used (surprise surprise) but you’re paying far less and when they grow out of them, it’s not that big of a deal. I would also sell their clothes at consignment sales and that helped me purchase the next size up. The same goes for children’s resale shops.😊
Watching at night so my day is done but today I flipped my matress (my myself lol), put a different comforter set on. I also scrubbed the tub/shower, washed the shower curtain and the valance in my bathroom👍

Just a basic set of plastic measuring cups make for the best bath toy! My son is a couple months younger than Oliver, and they are a big hit. (And can be easily washed in the dishwasher!)
Love your videos! I can relate to what you say about living in Arkansas because I grew up in SE Arkansas. I live in NE Tennessee now so we do not get back to Arkansas much these days. Tour videos help with my home sickness.Thanks for sharing!❤

Sometimes I see a video where they're cleaning a "clean" house. You show it like it is in real life and I appreciate that. I can't believe how tall Oliver is. Such a beautiful growing boy!!

For the bath, my kids still love bubbles and cups and I get those little pill capsules at the dollar store that open up into sponge creatures. It’s cool to watch them hatch and then we just throw them away. Also any kind of bath crayons or paint they loved in the bath. 🛁

They really do grow so fast! With my second child, I'm not buying any new clothes until I have to. Just using everything I was given

Hi Lauren, I used your link and bought the Shark vacuum and I just love ❤️ it. I do wish it had a longer cord and the shaft was a bit longer. I feel like I’m bending over when I use it. But, the strong suction makes up for it.
So glad you love it! I plug it in by my kitchen sink and I can do our entire main living space without moving the plug 🤣🤣 our house is so tiny so thanks for the update about the short cord! I would’ve never known! 🤪
Yes, I noticed Oliver looks closer to three, my son looked a little older too, he was tall for his age, he’s grown now and is 6ft tall. I’m glad, he took after my tall family members. Good video, need to declutter myself. 😂

Kids do grow so fast! When my son was a toddler, I bought clothes from yard sales and Walmart. Sears was a great place for his jeans. They use to have jeans that were re-enforced in the knee area, called tough skins and they were great. Walmart has so many clothes that are priced affordably.

Dawn dish soap and water! I even just use Sprayway bc it’s streak free!!!

I Decluttered our cabinet with the kids’ school supplies for their homework, did dishes, straightened up the house, made my bed, laid my 3 kids’ clothes out for their wk and relaxed a bit at the beginning of watching! Have a great Sunday & wk!❤
