    I have a son in law that is over the service dept. and fixed operations, he and his people would do anything to help you but guess what, the Gen. manager would act just like the guy you met. This fellow doesnt like dealing with the public. Amazing. You were very lucky to get things fixed that quickly. Good for you. I have been there before with a class A. I understand.

    We'll that was good thing about the generator breakers. Those Facebook groups are very handy. @RVAmerica I bought in 2010 when the market was horrible. I paid 90k for a 4 year old luxury coach. I wish I still had it. I sold it for 80k last year to a gentleman who's shop worked on it. If I hadn't retired like I did an kept my truck I would still have it. But I'm getting all the good outta this kenworth. It last till I pass.

    Have had our Class-A since 1996. Never have needed a tow, or even a jump start call. With that said, we've done extra maintenance to keep the ol' girl happy.

    • @RVAmerica
      @RVAmerica  Месяц назад

      This one only had 17,000 miles on it. We had done all the maintenance. It seems it's a know problem with this engine. Safe travels. 😊

    • @dennisgardiner43
      @dennisgardiner43 Месяц назад

      @@RVAmerica No shade. Every engine/chassis, make and model of vehicle has its issues. Not saying you have not done maintenance. I'm sure you have. GMs 454 V8 also would cook spark plug wires. This issue was solved by the time our RV rolled off of the assembly line. But, being overly cautious we still changed the spark plugs, wires and even O2 sensor at 35K miles. Safe travels in your rig.

    Hey y’all! My very FIRST concern when the big truck wrecker hooked onto you was if he pulled out the drive shaft…ordinarily an RV your size isn’t front wheel drive…but, I could be wrong though. So, what was done by the tow driver? I pray for y’all’s sake he DID pull the drive shaft [if it IS rear axle driven] or you could possibly be having future problems with the transmission or real end or both. Very nice the service department wasn’t at all like the general manager. I’m quite sure I wouldn’t have put up with that childish behavior more than five seconds before harshly letting him know in ‘my’ southern way! Very unprofessional to say the least. Glad y’all got rolling again and still on schedule! Safe travels! ~Jim~
