Nice job Nick! I had a Porsche like this one in Seal Gray…brings back memories. The hardest part of the wash on these (for me) was the drying. So many spots that hold water on these older Porsches. I invested in a battery leaf blower to get everything dry and to reduce the water spots. Cheers!
Hi Nick,i don't remember if i tell you but first thing,HAPPY NEW YEAR TO you and your family! Second thing, super job on that 997 Porsche, great turnover, and third thing, i don't know if you try labocosmetica cronos for the exhausts, but it helps me very much for this tasks. Great video, thank you.👍👍
Absolutely brilliant Nick …. The catch up from the Roof only vid didn’t disappoint 👏👏…. I must say that car certainly deserves to be kept well …. Especially after your great work again … like new 🫵🫡👏👏👏
Another great video Mr harper. I am a weekend warrior detailing my car. Last autumn my brakes sized up the mechanic said it was because I used a pressure washer on the wheels which I did from a distance. He said it caused corrosion and not to use it on the wheels again any thoughts? Cheers thanks 😊
Thank you very much, Simon. In the last 15 years and probably around 10,000 cars so 40,000 wheels I have never heard of a break seizing up because of the use of a pressure washer, so I should probably suggest firing your mechanic 😂
Great video, car looks great, I was surprised to see you using Chemical Guys Water Spot Remover, I used this product on my wife’s Mercedes, the black anodised trim around the glass became matt due to the product scorching the gloss, then I noticed the product contains sulphuric acid……is there a trick to using this product?
It’s an acid based water spot remover. The trims are so delicate on Mercedes. You’ll need to hand polish them to bring them back to gloss. I’m guessing they were chemically damaged in the first place?
@@HarpersCarDetailing Hi Nick, thanks for replying, the Merc has the night pack, brand new from the dealer decided to use the water spot remover on the glass, and trim to the windows got smudged with the water spot remover, went back to the car a short while later and noticed the trim had turned matt 😢…..thanks for the tip I will try the hand polishing, I to love Bilt hamber products……its very obvious to see Nick you love your work…..all your cars are fabulous
Wow great job buddy, the car looks fantastic now👌🏻, Just got myself some of that protector wax used it for the first time just before Xmas & thought it did a great job but not sure on durability , What do you think of it & its durability, Keep up the great work👍🏻
What a transformation, owner would barely recognise the car I would think. Around this time of year I start to worry about frost getting to products left in the garage. I guess most people are in the same situation and even worse for you mobile guys with product left in vans over night, any thoughts on this?. Thanks
Thank you 👍🏼 I wouldn’t worry about it. My products are in the garage too, and have had no issue. When it’s below freezing I will take equipment inside to prevent freezing
I know your in UK 🇬🇧 but you sure do get a lot of dirty luxury cars that haven’t been touched in a long time. That’s blows my mind that they don’t have there car detailed weekly or every 2 weeks regardless of the car if it a luxury car or a everyday car. The paint is porous and the thickness of the paint is so thin compared to 1990’s Mercedes paint thickness for example. And everything else of a modern day vehicle. brilliant video, great work and for a car that looked like it hadn’t been touched in months.👍👋🫶
The car really needed a wash! And in your hands, the result was, as usual, top notch.
Thank you very much!
Really came up well (apart from the exhausts)

It’s the same with all cars!
Ideally a blower would help remove the loose water 👍🏼
I guess, the ground needs detailing, too 😊
Good job ! 👏
Excellent job Nick and advices the car is ready for paint correction best wishes 2025 to you and family 🙏🇨🇦

I have used Cronos before and really liked it! It wouldn’t have done anything to these tips though. I think they were too far gone!
Coool Nice job
Nice result 😎 quick question PW on the roof or not , I love this product . Your videos have helped me learn a lot thank you 😊
Cheers man, I am glad they have helped 👍🏼
Not on the roof. It doesn’t do anything to fabric 👍🏼
Didn’t think it thanks 😊
Looks good

Thank you very much! When I saw how bad the car looked, I was actually glad I was filming it! I knew it would hopefully make for a great video!
@ defo ….. oh and it was waiting for you ….. great detail 👏👏👏
I liked the man putting the bins out in the middle 😂
Keeping it real 😂
Can you use ceramic snow foam on a soft top?
I have tried. It failed 😂
Another great video Mr harper.

I only have a karcher k2 pressure washer, not a powerful one tbf.
Thanks for the videos there informative and relaxing as well 😀
That’s more than powerful enough for cars 👍🏼
Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed them 👍🏼

Usually around a month. I use it more as a aid to help in the final stages
soo cool~
Cheers man 👊🏽
Vers good job
Hoping you’ll see this and answer, what snow foam lances do you use?
They were from a shop that doesn’t exist anymore. I believe they got them from Temu
@ oh that was unexpected ha! Thanks for that. I’ve got the MJJC but it’s very thick, even with BH touchless and the ones you use are runnier.
@ it depends what your dilution is as well.
I use about 150ml and 850ml water
I’m interested in buying the car if it’s for sale?
Great video Nick, is touchless that much better than auto foam?
Thanks Jonny. In my opinion it is 👍🏼I love it
@ auto foam also works great but maybe I’ll upgrade. Thanks 🙏
What's the exact name of the colour? 🙏
Blue
Sorry, I couldn’t resist. Midnight blue 👌🏼
Just out of curiosity how much did you charge?
Including interior around £100 👍🏼
@@HarpersCarDetailing thanks
@@jonnyb4271seems very reasonable considering the products used and expertise provided

Who specs carbon ceramics on a C4S drop top. Original customer got mugged by the salesmans.
Bust this customer reaaaaaaly benefited 👌🏼
Less brake dust in your hair, though. Which is nice! 😃

It’s criminal to see how some car owners treat and neglect their vehicles
Couldn’t agree more!
The interior was worse 😷
Makes for a good video though
Where's the part seagulls dropped nuclear poos?
Fortunately didn’t happen…this time anyway
Who let’s are car get that mouldy
Agreed! Not very good, is it!
Why do people treat cars like this
How much for this detail to be done?

The majority of my clients are monthly, some fortnightly and a couple are weekly. Jobs like these are more of a one of!
Glad you enjoyed the video 👍🏼
