Very good video Adam, I’m based in the UK so won’t be a sale for you unfortunately, but it would be great to see the V pole in action especially to see the accuracy at distance, Cheers Gordon
This hot little devil leaves a 3D Disto completely in the dust and in interior applications outperforms classic total stations by a long shot. I argue that the 50m range is relevant in larger sites as well with a couple more setups. Its a fantastic application of computer vision. All gripes I have with this baby is a) it gets rather warm and its new so I am dubious about deformation effects as of now. b) It doesnt let me do classic total station survey stuff i wanna do...i might not NEED to do it but gosh darn it i WANNA. Its extremely streamlined to use. That was a lot of work to be sure. Love this little sucker.
How nice would it be to have the point id's saved to the panoramic view? No real need to take a photo for the desired point then..then the panoramic could be viewed in any photo app.. Maybe an update feature!?
I don't think so. We already have the device in use. We have also been using the LEICA 3D Disto for the last 10 years. There is nothing comparable on the market. I am also in favor of robotics if the application is suitable. Robotics does not yet work in practice on construction sites. We need to be able to measure incredibly flexibly. Every situation is different, and it is not possible to measure as efficiently as we can with the new iCS50 using robotics. We use the iCS50 to measure everything we produce. So: glass showers, stairs, kitchen covers, glazing, garden closures and much more.
The robotic function does not mean that the unit is manually moved, rather, it refers to the the vPen tracking. The iCS20 without the vPen is a direct 3D DISTO replacement. It still has the automated scans, just no tracking of the vPen. The setup and scanning process is the same with the iCS20 and iCS50 up until Adam pulls out the vPen.

Thanks for the fantastic video and your enthusiasm! 🙏

Really fast and easy to use !

Is it possible to give access to the 3d DFX?
Какова цена комплекта ICS 50? Когда компания Leica выпутсила данный продукт на рынок?
Please reach out to us at info@advanceddimensions.com for pricing. We are expecting these to ship mid-October.
i need this asap, how can i get a demo im in texas
Red laser? No green?
Red only, no green. With this unit, the on-screen crosshair is the primary view when taking measurements.
And the price has adjusted to today's times just as I thought.😂 small companies will look for Chinese equivalents
I'm waiting for my price from the sales guy. How much was yours at?
@@martenkerkhoff6600 $20.000
with this performance, quality and know how will you not find a chinese equivalent ;-)

So stupid why these companies even make these non-robotic these days.
