It is sung by a very FAMOUS INDIAN CLASSICAL MUSICIAN and Playback Singer Dr.K.S.HARISANKAR, who is one of the MOST VERSATILE MUSICIANS of India.. He has already sung for more than 200 movies in multiple languages in South India.. He was trained by his father and grandmother, who are of course great Musicians too... Did u listen to Navarasam (Malayalam)? Varaha roopam (kannada song, said to be inspired by Navarasam) is wonderful too. Also listen to singara siriye (same movie as Varaha roopam - 'Kantaara'). Fusion music is kind of AR Rahman's forte...his claim to fame was his music in the 90s where he masterfully blended Carnatic music with western music and you get this classic indian ragas but with modern twist and vibes and i think that why so many of his music has stood the test of time
10:15 Thiruvananthapuram ("the city of holy Ananthan") is not Thrissur Pooram. The former is the capital city of Kerala. The latter is the festival you meant.
You should add the song name to the video title "Jiya Jale" it will get more attention to both your video and the original cover, KS Harisankar he deserves a pan India fame.
I love seeing y'all reacting to malayalam artists!! 💗 edit: Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum) is actually a city in Kerala, the festival u mentioned is called a pooram :))
