After hearing this I’d never doubt the power of love. Meatloaf is quite convincing. Love can turn everything upside down and make the world go around. Great song! Some of the cold hearted world leaders should hear and dig this! Sina has a lot of time to prepare for her part, but when she launches off she is quite wonderful. Her spirit is glowing and she is supporting the singer and the band fullheartedly 😊. Lovely ❤

I recal this and other meatloaf songs back in the 89 - 93 club nights, was long after the original generation, but it was part of mine :D
Helps so much when you have a group of girls within your club tribe, and oh gosh. I'd have melted for Sina, she is georgious. looking especially fantastic in this video. (So good to see her bring her face out, she is beautiful)

I am still trying to figure out how a young lady from Germany loves the rock and roll I love so much from the plains of Indiana. How you feel the music and play with such joy, songs that I grew up with as a kid and teenager. We would listen to them on dates, going on road trips, ( that means partying out in the country with girls and guys all night) or just jamming at home with the volume up. Watching and listening to you play never gets old. Good call on this one as well! Hope you are doing well! Wish I could come listen live. Listened to Downstream again last night. Still one of the best I have heard!

Omg this is such nostalgic song tysm Sina !! and I could not resist searching for what Meat Loaf wouldn't do 😂💗
According to the search, things he would not do include “forget the way you feel right now”, “forgive myself if we don't go all the way tonight”, “do it better than I do it with you”, and “stop dreaming of you every night of my life”. So now I know!

OMG! It is always such a joy to watch you perform. You don't just play drums ... you are the drums ... their heart and soul ... their very reason to exist. Music simply come tumbling out the second you sit down to play ... out of your mind, your heart, seemngly even your pores. You are hands down the very best in the world of music. Thank you soooooo much for the countless hours and hours and hours of listening pleasure you have selflessly offered to all of us for so many years. Yet, through it all, you remain so sweet and humble. You are simply amazing ...

Fun Fact: English singer Lorraine Crosby sang the other part of the duet. She and her partner Stuart Emerson had moved to Los Angeles to work with Steinman, who became their manager and secured them a contract with Meat Loaf's label MCA. While visiting the company's studios on Sunset Boulevard, Crosby was asked to provide guide vocals for Meat Loaf, who was recording the song. Crosby recalls, "In I went and sang it twice and I never thought anything more of it until six months later when I got a phone call saying, 'Would you mind if we used your vocals?'" As Crosby had recorded her part as guide vocals, she received no royalties from the song.

Sina Doering you proved your point! You managed to play just about everything in your kit at the same time.. Flawless work on the cymbals , toms , rims and bass drum!!!
This video is also a fitting tribute to the late, great Marvin Lee Aday.. RIP MEATLOAF. ❤
P.S. did you change the usual lighting in this video? You look extra elegant and beautiful today 😊.

WOW!!!

Old and "untouchable" song maybe, and then you still cover it and lifts out a shining (rolling) stone, that lives and kicks - so fun to follow your musical journey, Sina!
