      This showed The incredible strength & endurance of Devon.. increased strength won't beat endurance in a Super Match vs Devon.. because of his out of wordly balance both.. and then throw in his skill and knowledge and this is what happens..

      @NebraskaRaider 7 лет назад +3

      Travis is very fast off the start. If larret can withstand the initial surge that's when he can win but that's easier said than done lol

  • @weewilly49
    @weewilly49 7 лет назад +36

    This was over 5 yrs. ago. Today (Jan. '17), even with the weight difference (225-280), I believe Bagent wouldn't stand a chance. His time has passed. Larratt has trained himself into the stratosphere.

    • @matthewcraig3837
      @matthewcraig3837 7 лет назад +12

      Ummmm, you do realize Travis destroyed everyone at WAL 2016 right and left, and hasn't lost to Devon left handed in many years?

    • @weewilly49
      @weewilly49 7 лет назад +4

      They haven't competed since Larratt came down to 225lbs. Both Larratt & Bagent won L & R at the last WAL Championships (Aug. 2 and 9 2016).

    • @weewilly49
      @weewilly49 7 лет назад +1

      Guess Bagent's still got it. Would like to see Larratt carefully put on 55 lbs. and then see what might transpire.

      Wee Willy Two months ago I was on a table with Travis. He let me smash into his left repeatedly, and my left hit is nasty. He caught it and basically took the strength right out of my hand. He's an absolute wizard on an arm wrestling table.

      Arzan Khan What? You’re an idiot. Those two, as of 2018, are the two best pound-for-pound arm wrestlers on the planet. Like a poster above said, the only difference is one weight class. We might not ever see those two pull in a legitimate competition again, at least not while they’re in their primes (Travis is definitely in his prime and I think Devon is too, though it could be argued he looked a lot more powerful 5-10 years ago). But if Travis can maintain his dominance on the right and prove his WAL victory over Chaffee wasn’t just a fluke, he may finally fulfill the potential that everyone thought he had so many years back. He was being talked about as the next Brezink until Devon started beating him and the Russians showed up, but now it looks like he might be on top for a very long time. For sure on the left (he’s basically unbeatable on the left at this point in time) and if he stays disciplined he might be the new king on the right, too. Devon is smart and he’ll stay a weight class below Travis and most likely continue to dominate, for another few years at the very least.

    What would be the best stratagy for a long competitive event like Nemiroff? Hmm I can think of two 1. Have amazing endurance to be able to pull many top pullers and more than 1 class. 2. Lie down for the favorites and pull when it matters for position.
    Well we Know what stratagy worked this year and Devon has Endurance so it could be close next year LOL!

    This is armwars. It's a league to promote armwrestling via Eurosport. In this league they go real easy on fouls to make it more interesting for TV. "Real" armwrestling with WAF rules is not very audience friendly. We need to do everything to make the sport bigger ;)

    Impressive indeed. This victory makes Devon Nr armwrestler at North America with both hands! Respect for both of these athletes because they could be one of the top ones at North America who doesn't use drugs to achieve results...
    Why people speaks about Cyplenkov as Nr1 at world? He's drug user! Nr1 at world now is Puskar - won championship - 2011 (passed drug tests!).Larrat should prove himself at World Championships at Brasil this year - not at those commercial drug user contests...

  • @backpressure123

    Travis lost his pronation through his thumb along this supermatch. Look at how fast Devon managed to beat Travis in an inside press once Travis' hand was supinated from Dev's wrist cupping strength through his pinky (he sets up with his elbow tucked in and shoulder behind to do this). As long as Travis maintains his pronation + post, he can get really close to beating Larratt even when his hit off the go fails. However, once turned inside, it's all Devon's, either by hook or press.

  • @dwaldo1238

    yes!! he made no serious adjustment, just kept trying with more and more effort. Devon is all about adjustments!! when you're at that level its essential.

  • @trashbash2001

    @ShorterThan170 those really big guys have lots of strength but it's technique thats gonna do one of two things. Make them loose, or break their arm and make them loose. Look up "magnus samuelson arm break" (spelling?) and you'll see what i mean.
    Anyone can compete, but armwrestling strength is different. Kinda like a weight lifter to a gymnast.

  • @VikingII

    the best overall armwrestler for me,at this moment is Cyplenkov!Denis can take matches against Larratt at right hand!Larratt,i don't think that he can take matches from Cyplenkov,at left hand!Aditionallyu,PUSHKAR would be a real threat for Larratt!It's pity that Devon doesn't participate at Nemiroff!

  • @kasparov9
    @kasparov9 12 лет назад

    Didnt Denis easily toproll Tim at Nemiroff 2008? The Denis that Lupkes almost beat at the Arnolds was a smaller version compared to his usual massive Nemiroff shape. And the pulled probably 3 months later after Arm wars Sin City. Denis and Devon would be a good match, if Denis comes in at his heaviest. What I dont understand is, why havent Jerry Cadorette and Devon pulled yet? They're both in North America and both haven't lost a supermatch, well Devon hasn't in atleast 6 years.

    @MrYURA4545 I totally agree. no one in noth America can beat Devon, so when he wins over here do we cheer, or is it practice? Everybody wanted to see a Jerry/Devon super match before nemiroff happened...still want to after Jerrys loss to Khadzimurat? I like Devon but until he beats the top russians, people will doubt who is the best in the world.
