Julia, you are an excellent tour guide! Madrid looks like a beautiful city! You are very blessed to be able to see so many countries! Enjoy your travels and be safe!!
Thank you so much for taking us along with you. Madrid looked beautiful. I love that you were ok venturing out on your own and met up with your crew for dinner.
This brought back so many great memories from when I studied in Sevilla in 2007, and flew through Barajas to get there. I also visited Madrid in October on a weekend excursion with my fellow students. I will never forget seeing the Madrid airport all lit up upon landing at 7:00 AM. Terminals 4 and 4 Satellite looked like never-ending, long shopping malls or something. They had only been open for about a year at that point.
Great , enjoyed the clip.I know a retired lawyer here in Dallas who loves Spain. He says you can get a great meal with a bottle of wine for half the cost in Dallas.
Wow !!!! That food market looked like it had so much to offer. Your videos sure are a pleasure to watch. It's nice seeing places I know I will never see in person.
Julia, thank you so much for sharing your trip. So beautiful and at Christmas!! I didn’t even know there was a royal palace! And cathedrals are one of my favorite places to visit. Your magnets were great choices! I would of had to have both, also! Blessings to you, Eric and Luna!
Amazing!! Yes that sounds like exactly where I need to be. Currently my goal is to hit 30 countries before I turn 30, but at this rate I think I’ll hit it before then (I’m 27)
@@JettingJulia One last quick comment: Put Phuket Thailand and the Phi Phi Islands on your bucket list. It is my favorite place in the world and I’m going back for the 3rd time in March. Happy Holidays.
Beautiful. Hubby and I are going to Madrid and Barcelona and then Florence and Rome from 10/3-23/23. Thanks for sharing. Did you like the restaurant. Still trying to figure out restaurants. Thinking of going to Flamenco show/dinner show.
SUPER GOOD VLOG! You really impress me with how much walking you do! I only ever used to walk to a restaurant or shop/supermarket. It was always the same. I'd leave the crew and go and find a local restaurant then a shop to get some soft drinks / Snacks and just go back to the room to rest until I had to leave. That was 30 years ago! In my flying days, MAD was my least favourite Spanish trip. It was nice, but not my best place. VLC was my all time favourite, followed by SVQ, BIO, then BCN. Have to compliment you on your editing btw!
Awesome Video Julia Thank you for showing me Madrid I only went to the Airport to Connect Flights so I didn’t really see Madrid but next time your in Spain you gotta see Tarragona and Gerri De La Sal
Coffee in Spain is very strong. I recommend you to try cafe con leche (coffee with milk, kind of cappuccino). We drink it a lot, it’s the most common. Regards from Barcelona.
This video has me feeling so nostalgic. I spent a couple years in Madrid, and I agree, it is such a special place. I'm glad you were able to explore and enjoy the city! :)
Hallo Julia from Spain!!!!I have been followind your youtube channel for the last 2 years of so. I love travelling a lot(just like you), but I am not a flight attendant. It was a great pleasure you travel to my country(SPAIN). Next time, if you have time, yoy should visit Barcelona, Valencia, Sevilla and. of course, my city,Pamplona!!!!!
Hi Julia. I am a recently retired teacher of Spanish in NJ. I travel to Spain very frequently to maintain my speaking level of Spanish. Spent 2 weeks in Spain this past Sept/October. You did really cover a lot of ground for only one day the city. I see that you and your crew friends had dinner in Casa del Abuelo. Hope you guys tried their gambas al ajillo (shrimp with garlic). It is their specialty. ¡Un plato perfectamente delicioso! You have only scratched the surface in discovering how phenomenal Spain is. It is a shame that most Americans prefer to go to Italy or France instead of Spain. Espero que puedas descubrir la escénica verdadera de España en tus muchos viajes del futuro. De Elaine la profe de NJ
I am at my other brother's place in NJ for awhile and one afternoon we walked around the neighborhood twice (with my nephew and his adorable furball Louie whom I think you saw a pic of on my IG)...and the distance we covered, according to my brother was 2.5 miles, and I thought THAT is alot. lol Anyway I've seen quite a few vloggers visit Barcelona and if you loved Madrid (which does look gorgeous), you may not want to leave Barcelona assuming you get there. Glad the second alarm didn't fail you🤭
Julia Wow!! Madrid Spain!! Visited Spain a few years ago (Barcelona) and found it to be a beautiful city also. We were on our 10th anniversary. Enjoyed a motorcycle tour of the city and toured historic sites. Madrid looks beautiful also. Noticed a lot of motor scooters and pedal bikes. Scenery on your trip looked fantastic. Loved your shopping items!! Sure that Eric and Luna miss you!! Regards Jennifer and Duncan from Canada
Thank you for sharing your FA life with us. I'm new to the industry (AA ground crew) and I've always been fascinated by and appreciated what you all do. I take day trips on my days off and walk as much as I can in new cities. I agree: it is the best way to see a place and be amongst its people. So, far Dublin has been my farthest day trip. Flew in & flew out the same day. Had a blast! If you ever have a long enough layover in Spain, try getting to Toledo (about an hour train ride from Madrid). Wonderful, old city with amazing architecture that shows its multicultural history. Friendly people and delicious food. And you'll love Barcelona! Safe travels and thanks!
I do admire you and the Beautiful places you go, Thank you so much for letting us see the beauty in this world in the midst of all the chaios. You are doing a great Job, please keep it up..........Thank you.
Madrid looks so beautiful and breathtaking, thanks for being us along your layover. The cathedral looked so beautiful. My friend had a student who was learning English came to stay with her and her husband. He was from Madrid Spain.
Think I need to start doing the magnets thing, have previously been trying to get stickers, but not many places have them, magnets if probably easier to find.
So glad you made the video, I lived in Madrid for 4 months and there are so many special little places. It is often overlooked as a travel destination spot. The best day trips are to Segovia and Toledo. If you want to see true Spain check out Segovia on your next layover. You did a Great job 🎉
If you’re still in Madrid, there’s a restaurant called the Museo dei Jamon. It’s one of the oldest restaurants in Spain. Lots of hams hanging from the ceiling. One of the best is Serrano hams - nutty flavor that comes from the acorns the pigs eat.
You have the dream job. You get to travel to such beautiful places. I'm so jealous. Hahah. I'm sharing your videos to my boyfriend to encourage him to travel.
Great vlog as always, Julia. Madrid is gorgeous. You saw it during the day, and i thought how gorgeous it must be at night when all the lights are on. I bet it is awesome.
Great filming job. Once again wonderful choice of music. Loved the whole thing. But I was surprised you passed that wonderful looking pastry bar and didn’t get some. I couldn’t have done that. Also you had a nice glow around you this trip. God bless
Great video, as always. These are two great trips in a short time. Has something changed in scheduling? Very detailed. Thanks for taking us along and all the work involved in doing it!
Once again a great video. I was going to say it was only so so, but right at the end you showed Luna!!!!! J/K nice to be able to travel the world without leaving my chair by watching your videos. Again Thank You.
Wooooh Country #24 here we go! I had the most FANTASTIC time in SPAIN! 🤗💃🇪🇸 Thank you all so much for watching & coming along with me. JJ

Very true, we need to see Luna going crazy on your arrival Julia 😂
Noted 😂 I won’t forget to film her when I come home again lol
What a beautiful city, thank you. Everything looks so modern and vibrant. I’m sure the people were friendly!
You wouldn't have liked it here then if you don't like the cold. It was -20C (-4F) here yesterday as the high!
