Blows my mind that this album was so underrated by the fanbase. This has always been one of my top ABR songs! Incredible!
Literally same. My favorite song from Leveler.
It was because the album sounded so different from previous albums, but it definitely grew on me over time
I think their most different album is Found In Far Away Places.
@@starskyguitarman from a composition standpoint I agree, but from a mixing/production perspective I think Leveler is a bit of an oddball among their work. Not to say that in a negative way, as I absolutely love this album and I think its production gives it a very unique atmosphere.
In my opinion, leveler was a step down compared to Messengers or Constellations but still a very solid album.

@@marknashland3884 interestingly... they are NOT a Christian band. They said so in an interview. They said only some of the members are Christian and they didnt understand why people called them a Christian band. Made me very sad to read that.
@@stephensummers1958 Jake and Matt are Christian. Everyone in the band contributes to the lyrics, and every song has Christian themed lyrics, so if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck...

Gee, this new tuning gives it more of an everlasting ending vibe. Love it.
Everlasting Ending always felt like a spiritual successor to Pangaea to me and we've come full circle now.

The original version has a special charm to it, but this is far beyond stellar. This band can’t do a single thing wrong even if they tried.
The original has way more atmosphere, both are great tho for sure
@@hcaz5818 agreed, although I absolutely love. I think Leveler has a great atmosphere throughout, something about the tone on their leads in the background puts the song in a new space.

Incredible. Leveler really needed this re recording. It's like a whole new album. I'm so excited for the full release!! Jake you had me worried that you hurt your vocals or something. You sound sick on guardians but it is a clear style change. I am glad that you still have your raw power house vocals!

I agree no one talks about the majority of Leveler. But to the comment above me, I’d put something like Count it All as Lost or Animals up there for underrated. Rescue and Restore was such a beautiful album front to back.

All shops, offices, churches and schools are shut down completely due to the high rise of covid cases here. It's difficult here. We are only allowed to stay at home.
