I love getting my subscription boxes each month. I wish Battlbox would quit advertising itself as, "Not your girlfriend's subscription box" because my boyfriend doesn't subscribe but I do. It's not my BOYFRIEND'S Battlbox. I wish they treated my money as green as men's. I love gear. I'm a gear nerd.
OK, out of all the boxes I like Valor Blocks the least! I was an M.P. For seven years in the Army and I wouldn't want all those silly trinkets. That's the stuff you send home to your seven year old or your father for Father's Day. Now I very fascinated by the gear from Spec Ops Global. In the service I used gear from other countries that I bought myself because I thought they made certain items better. I'm a cop now but I could never use most of the gear because its not issued but some items like flashlights, door jams, etc. I could; giving me the option of writing off those items on my taxes. If I could get out more, the Hunt Vault box could be useful. For me that would be a box for when I retire. BattlBox is more rounded, offering gear for survival, bushcraft, camping and at times family fun like the Zombie Theme in October. I was a member when they first started at the basic level. At the time I felt you need to be an advance level to receive ant item worth while but recently they seem to have upped their game for all levels. Most of these boxes are to pricey for me a family man and the only bread winner but I would invest in a box service that would benefit my family, like BattlBox or Survival Box. At the moment I do subscribe to Apocabox to keep my woodcraft skills up and to teach my son and wife the basics, plus being billed every other month is more helpful to my budget.
hunt vault and valor blocks are new to me. I have been getting batlebox for a few months now, and I love it. They get a lot of things that either I don't know about, or just would have never thought of, and it's usually tough I can use a lot while camping, or hunting, or just doing whatever. Spec ops, like you said is more police or military, or rescue minded. Still though, I love the themes that each box comes with. They are very organized, and I love that. So far, I have yet to get bad equipment. They are top quality items, that give me a chance to open my eyes to new products. Both companies offer great products, and I have been very happy with both.
Don't know which mission you are looking at for Battlbox, but I have been at the top level for 2 years and have not received all the items shown in this video in a single box.
Wow, that Valor Block is definitely for REMF privates who want to make sure everyone knows that they're ARMY STRONG HOOAH. LOL Criminy, it's like someone skimmed the souvenir stand at Ft. Hood's main PX and dropped it all in that box. Only thing missing is the black ball-cap with ARMY or HOOAH embroidered across the front, so large that it splashes down onto the bill.
Yeah I just enlisted in the army and got 4 T-shirts, a back pack, water bottle, coffee cup, coffee tumbler, ball cap and a couple folders and stickers...so basically you can get the box for free when you sign up for the army😂😂
All of that stuff in Valor Blocks is cheap junk. I could all of that and more for less on base from the military pride section at the exchange. There are tactical stores on base that sell a lot of the stuff from the other boxes as well.
I unfortunately never had the honor of serving but would check out the first 3 boxes myself. I definitely prefer military equipment like molle packs as my school pack cause they are so much more reliable than others
I think it depends on what you are looking for... it's not really about the money for me ... it's learning about and trying new items ... Many I may not have purchased myself ... If I was buying serious gear I would buy my own... but at a beginner level I've found subscription boxes helpful. I do survival box which helps me beef-up my food water and gear supplies ... and Carin box which gives me interesting camping and hiking gear ... usually from smaller unique companies made in the USA ...I think SpecOps Global is a very interesting box and Battle box has had some interesting gear the last 6 months .. thanks I learn a lot from your videos !! 👍
I don't get this. Why would I pay someone else to pick random items out for me? I can spend my money better than a stranger. Regardless if they can save me a little money on individual items, that is more than negated by all the stuff you don't need or want.
Yup it's going to be much cheaper to just go on their website, check out what they sent out, see if there's anything you like, and buy that one or two item that you liked.
Agree, too. These subscriptions are fine for folks with plenty of money and like stocking a gear vault with their collections. IMO, far too much "stuff" that I don't want, need or will ever use in most of these boxes. Sure, some of the gimmicks are cute. But, on a fixed income, can't afford "cute". Already had enough "cute" in my lifetime to last for the rest of it. If I've got an extra $25-$50 bucks or so, I'm going to pick out exactly what I want/need. Cheaper to pay full price for that item than to pay subscription rates for what I don't want/need. Everyone is different. If these are your cup of tea, please enjoy. I prefer coffee without cream and sugar, so I don't pay extra to stash those condiments somewhere to collect dust.
Some of these companies seem to be out of business or taking a hiatus. Battle box who I’ve followed certainly have products that are compatible with hunting and seem to be the bigger more well known subscription service.
@@alexbarry689 what's wrong with being in JROTC it is for middle and high schoolers who want to serve, so if you want to make fun of a future defender of a country you have something wrong with you
The Valor Blocks is a good gift for a family member who is super proud. It’d be more useful if they provided Soldiers with actual gear compliant with their branch. 👌🇺🇸
Ryu Hadouken, Valor blocks is all stuff you can on base cheaper then the company sells. He said they charge $40 a month, I could get all of that and more for less from the military pride section at the BX.
Very helpful with so many boxes out there Would get Battle Box because of the outdoor equipment. And Hunt Vault because of being family owned and on the web site they ask about what kind of hunting you're into to gear it towards your interests

One of them might be good for a gift or a couple months but I can't see paying for a subscription to any of these long term. I think I'd end up with a crate of stuff I'd never use.
Thank you. I didn't know about a couple of these boxes. I have been contemplating a subscription to battlebox, but now it looks like I have some more things to think about.
Battlbox used to be the shit but the last few before these last two sucked! Glad I didn't pay for those. Spec Ops Global seems to always have good gear. I love the fact that it's from all over the world and seems to be "battle tested". The other two did not interest me at all but I am not a Hunter or ex military. I think that the military box might be a cool gift for someone though. Good review as usual brother. Keep it up!
Everything in the spec ops global box looked very similar to condor gear and for the same price or less you could get all the same gear in matching colors. The hunt Vault one looked like a decent themed box where everything can be used together but I have no clue about if it is a good price or not. Valor looked like a cheep over priced box full of ads for the army. Battle box could be a way to find things you might not know about but youtube is free. My final verdict: most people that might buy these types of boxes know what they want and will just buy what they want. I did loot crate for a few months and other than the shirts most stuff just got thrown away. The sub box model usually is a way to sell off things that were just not selling and so was sold cheap to the sellers of these box programs. Sometimes you will get good stuff but many times you get junk.
i do not hunt.. but i do have friends that do.. and i can see the appeal for all 4 boxes ... keep what you want and give the extras as gifts or just to your friends you think would like it!
I have the Advanced Box subscription from Battle Box for about a year. The first few boxes were pretty good. More recent boxes have made me think about canceling, but then there's always something in the box that makes me think to give it another month. Some of those items have been long term food packages, wool blanket, survival books, 3 knives ( couple of cheaper fixed blades and one nice folder ) and first aide items. There are also some items I've tossed in a box and put in the storage room. The SpecOps seems interesting. The other 2 would be a waste for me.
Spec ops looked like the most bang for its buck, with the gear coming together to make sets. I'm not exactly sure how it was broken down as it sounded like you had 1 box with all 3 levels in it. I dont know what that means for common folk who just get the level 1 box. Does that mean u would only get one thing.. one peice of the puzzle?? That's less admirable, but if u got the money then the full fit that can be used together was really nice!
If you're a gear junkie good at Ebay (to sell the unwanted/unused items), then I can see where certain subscription services will be appealing. I'm into knives so the box subscriptions are a no-go for me.
i like to watch the different unboxings just to see some new gear, its how i ended up buying a particular spiderco knife that i loved. but yeah id never spend the money on monthy blind boxes myself
My grandfather taught me to hunt the old fashioned way, tracking, not sitting in a tree or blind. Any advice on a hunting box geared more towards that style?
The first one is the I'd get but at $150 a month that's my entire monthly budget for my hobbies so it too is a no go. Yes they offer lower price categories but it's the knife I really want and is the best fit for this kind of thing, I own quite a few knives that I didn't think I'd like until I actually started to use them.
battlbox is the box im interested in, long time customer.........however the dopp box no one liked, box 27 never received the jacket customer service not responsive, the last box has a shovel that is pretty flimsy, the item for the box of the month has quality and safety issues, I really dont think i will be getting battlbox much longer, poor customer service is a big one for me...... the box with the international stuff, i dont care for, i want US made, no interest in the hunting box. im army retired, that valor box is a no go, that stuff looks like some free swag that they acquired and are trying to sell........... ty for sharing the video
These were all pretty disappointing, it's good that you're showing us the contents of the subscriptions and I appreciate it, but the only one that actually seemed like survival gear was the first box. Everything else was just attire.
Just saw one of your videos, looks like you do a great job on survival topics, so I thought I would subscribe. I’ll have to watch all your videos now....lol. I’m sure I’ll have some questions👍
All the boxes are ok for what they are . I myself had balltebox but dropped it . I had the highest end subscription box and it’s cool , the stuff is good for a prepper as well . My issue is paying $160 for the box , I can afford it and don’t mind paying $160 the problem is that the knife is making the box that price , once you get 10 boxes and start having a bunch of knives it becomes redundant , they need to drop the knife and add another $100 item monthly or give a subscriber who stays with them at least 6 months a choice between a knife and another item . Most grown men already own 5-10 knives before the subscription , and most normal people do not need 30 knives, and to keep the knife collection growing every month. Plus I am a micro tech frantic , I dont mind a nice spyderco knife as well . I’m not saying sog and the brands they send me are bad , I’m just much more fascinated with knives of a higher caliber , my carry knife is a micro-tech halo for the past 20 years , fast deploy , sharp as a razor and reliable . If I’m going in the bush obviously that’s not my go to .
In your opinion out of the subscription boxes which is your favorite as far as gear and value of gear in the box... battle box, crate club etc as some examples
I like the BattlBox best for my interests. The Hunt Vault is solid for outdoors - very solid - but definitely geared toward hunting. I'm about to check out Never Enough Tactical - so I'll see what It think about that one soon.
That SOG is it spring assisted or was that just you flicking it open? (live in Canada)

there is NO sub box service here in Brazil. the shipping cost is bigger than the box price itself. very hard to find one that is a fair price. not the company fault, the mail!
I find the subscription boxes interesting because they usually turn me on to a company or product that I haven't heard of. are there products that I already have or am not interested in, sure, but I still like battlbox.
I have a question, which is the best choice for hiking, tekking, outdoors equipment? I'm a long time hiker and would like better items to travel better.
For myself I would be more interested in the Spec Ops Global or BattlBox as those are the ones with the stuff I would most likely use. I dont hunt so I really would have no use for the Hunt Vault one and being a former Canadian Soldier the Valor Blocks looks pretty cheap, nothing against it but if one wants patches and little stuff like that you could get it all from a military surplus store for next to nothing. I also find when it comes to things like challenge coins and patches if you belong to any online sites that have military or exmilitary then trading is way better at least thats what I find.
I've tried Battlebox and did not like it. Then, I tried Tacpack and it was not for me. I did like their stuff, but I don't have guns. It might be cool for someone to build guns. But, I like my archery hunting. So, now I just subscribed to Huntvault. I'll get my first box next month.
Great video, the Battlebox looks like stuff from the Dollar Tree, except that knife maybe. Spec Ops box is interesting, maybe a good box for a kid looking to join army. Nothing really awesome. Huntvault pretty weak. Was expecting cooler items. Wouldnt be happy with that. Valor blocks is better to gift to someone in the army. I could see my son amped up for it. Hes 17 and joining.
These are fun and kind of like gambling. I think I would put the money for the box in a jar each month and save it till I could buy something I really wanted with no wastage. I still like the suspense of these videos and you make decent ones, so as long as you want to pay, ill watch em and cross my fingers for ya.
I choose...None of the Above! I don't need stuff sent to me that, well, I don't need. What I need is to save my money what I know I need, not what someone tells me I need. So, figure out what you need based on the plans and gear you already have, and buy what you actually do need to get things done. Oh, and research, see what is out there, you don't need to buy 12 different things in a box which has maybe one thing you actually do need...just research and buy what you need and only what you need...unless you got a ton of money
I wouldn't personally purchase this type of product, i thought Hunt Vault probably offered the best value though if the Spec-Ops Global series contain products that are integral to a specific system(s) it may well turn out to be good value over time.
Valor block was unbelievably underwhelming. Literally gift shop items at the PX

battlbox is the box im interested in, long time customer.........however the dopp box no one liked, box 27 never received the jacket customer service not responsive, the last box has a shovel that is pretty flimsy, the item for the box of the month has quality and safety issues, I really dont think i will be getting battlbox much longer, poor customer service is a big one for me......
the box with the international stuff, i dont care for, i want US made, no interest in the hunting box.
im army retired, that valor box is a no go, that stuff looks like some free swag that they acquired and are trying to sell...........
ty for sharing the video
Is there anything like knife box, but with better knives than Mtech?
1. Pull up Blade HQ, Knife Center, etc.
2. Save your payment and shipping info.
3. Get blackout drunk.
4. Pray you didn't spend more than ~$150.
Thanks brother. 🇺🇸
I thought this was crazy Russian hacker by the thumbnail pic 😂
People don’t understand the valor box wasn’t for gear but for army related trinkets
I’m sure I’ll have some questions👍
mark Bohamed Welcome aboard sir
Hey. Are you a green beret or marine infantry
Very informative video, thanks for your time and knowledge
Cool! Would have liked to see BARREL&BLADE tactical outfitters. Especially since every male I'm around talks about it constantly!!
I'm going to check them out later on this summer possibly. Just didn't have time for now.
It’s like pubg and ordering super secret detective boxes from comic books. Decoder rings and mirror glasses
That SOG is it spring assisted or was that just you flicking it open? (live in Canada)
there is NO sub box service here in Brazil. the shipping cost is bigger than the box price itself. very hard to find one that is a fair price.
not the company fault, the mail!
Oh man - bummer!
EverydayTacticalVids I emailed the guys at battlebox and they don't ship to Brazil. Well, the search continues.. Tks for the help!
I find the subscription boxes interesting because they usually turn me on to a company or product that I haven't heard of. are there products that I already have or am not interested in, sure, but I still like battlbox.
Good info. Appreciate ya
I have a question, which is the best choice for hiking, tekking, outdoors equipment? I'm a long time hiker and would like better items to travel better.
Of these, I'd say BattlBox, but probably other sub boxes out there that are even better for your interests.
@@EverydayTacticalVids thank you so much, with a $50 budget they may have what I'm looking for.
what model was the sog knife in the 1st box and what is the length of the actual blade?
For myself I would be more interested in the Spec Ops Global or BattlBox as those are the ones with the stuff I would most likely use. I dont hunt so I really would have no use for the Hunt Vault one and being a former Canadian Soldier the Valor Blocks looks pretty cheap, nothing against it but if one wants patches and little stuff like that you could get it all from a military surplus store for next to nothing. I also find when it comes to things like challenge coins and patches if you belong to any online sites that have military or exmilitary then trading is way better at least thats what I find.
I enjoy this man
Spec ops is what i Would want from a Box like that
Which box has exclusive items?
Valor box - nice items.
Jesus, the Valor Blocks box looked like they just rummaged for shit in the back room of a Recruitment Office. Haha
thank you for the video
Do u ever send boxes to fans ? Because I REALY want one and I don't have any money
You should’ve done crate club too
Do you enjoy getting them or sometimes regret signing up for the surprise?
Please could you direct me to which box you received the item from Japan in? I can nothing find which box that is. Thank you.
It's been 2 years wow.
I like the battle box because it has a variety of different things the are useful for the things that interest me
I get the battlbox I like it because I get things I don’t really think about
What can you tell me about clubtac legendary. Can not find any videos on that level of subscription.
What about a subscription box for people that watch RUclips videos about subscription boxes?
battle box, cool but I could get gear that I need right now faster and of course no problem on selection.
Yea, why any of them?
These are fun and kind of like gambling. I think I would put the money for the box in a jar each month and save it till I could buy something I really wanted with no wastage.
I still like the suspense of these videos and you make decent ones, so as long as you want to pay, ill watch em and cross my fingers for ya.
Only good for surprises. None of them are quality goods and the vest thingy is probably not even bullet proof or resistant
1:00 if you just want to see the boxes.
Tactical lip balm?! Bahaha that one really got me.
How many thought that the guy in the thumbnail was crazy Russian hacker. 😂that's the only reason why I clicked on this video
It doesn’t seem like you ordered the same price point. The boxes seem so different in value.
I wouldn't personally purchase this type of product, i thought Hunt Vault probably offered the best value though if the Spec-Ops Global series contain products that are integral to a specific system(s) it may well turn out to be good value over time.
