By far, my favorite side bet is match the dealer.
I love the double deck blackjack side bet in California casinos where you can play both the up card and the down card. Suited match pays 19 to 1. Of course the odds are not very good but people hit it all the time. I, myself, had three suited match in one shoe twice.
