The tags are really such a useful feature that I have never utilized whatsoever.
I would really like to add a wishlist Tag as well, so I really could use an organizing session like this one

I’m a StoryGraph Librarian! Happy to help add book data if you want to send links, or you can create tickets for any of the ones missing pub info.

I’ll hold you to that one book rule 😉

I love your “low buy” plan! I’m trying to do this as well - saving for my wedding. How will you handle gifted books?

Good question! It doesn't apply to gifted books from publishers (or friends), but I'll accept those in moderation as usual (I've accepted less and less every year as I get better at knowing what I'll like). Good luck with your saving goal!

You can also filter in your tbr list on things like genre!

There's definitely a few functions I'm not used to using yet, but that will definitely come in handy next time, thanks! :D

I really badly need to update my StoryGraph. My Goodreads is much more organised and it’s why I still lean towards it. I need to dedicate the time into sorting out my StoryGraph!

The tags are private by default! Though you can choose to make them public, which I've done for my wishlist, so I can share it with others easily :)

The End of the World podcast sounds right up my street. Can't wait for that! I recently started using the 'Reading Challenge' feature of Storygraph to track all sorts of things such as my hauled books and where I got them ( e.g. charity shop, indie bookshop, bootfair etc), my bookclub books, and to track upcoming book to movie adaptations. Also using it to create monthly TBRs. It's a game changer! Reading Challenges can also be set as private

That's so cool! Could you explain a bit more how you use it? Do you use the prompts for the challenges and then tick them off as you go?

@@booksandquills I think this will be explained better with Screenshots so I've sent you a message request on Insta 😊

I read "Nothing but blackened teeth" and it was kind of revolting, and unfortunately not in the best way, I got really nauseous over it to be honest. The writing was also exceedingly floral and pretentious, and not in a "oh this is beautifully written kind of way", but in a really exasperating kind of way, as if the writer was making sure to use the thesaurus as much as possible unnecessarily just to prove how smart they were, to the point it felt so long even though it's a tiny book. Yeah, you can probably tell it was on my top 2 worst books of 2023 lol.
