I can't quite say Concerning your course but I think having one place where my notes are, helped me alot sha...but again, I'm not sure, you could try it if you want or just do you b... you got this nevertheless:)
Most lecturers would give out materials in the form of pdf or photocopies so you don't really need to write major notes (again this depends on what you are studying)

I used a 12-in-1 hardcover notepad and it made such sense because I hated having multiple books
