Do states have a different audit group that focuses on IT audit support or do audit teams take care of both FS and IT audits?

Every state is set up completely different on how they execute audits, but yes - we have a separate IS audit division that conducts an Information Systems audit with our clients, separate from our financial audits. There is no way us financial auditors are qualified for that haha. I have regular meetings with the IS auditor in-charge to keep him in the loop of what we find in our work and vice versa. It's a good system here in TN.
