Thanks a lot! It’s a nice piece of gear.. unfortunately I’ll be looking into the newer models soon, so I’m not sure if I’ll be making 2500 videos on a regular.
Classic BoomBap material right there my friend, and sweet visuals!!! Little nervous brother because I've always used my phone, but I'm really thinking about getting the Blackmagic 4k🙏🏾✊🏾💚
I was a bit nervous myself, even tho I’ve used different dslr and mirrorless cameras.. this was something new, a dedicated video camera. I have nothing bad to say about the camera, besides the battery life, you will need a better battery solution. The flexibility in post depending on what format you shoot, I’ve been shooting raw and haven’t had any issues when editing.
Do you know the German Rap Song "Esperanto" from the group "Freundeskreis"? They used the same sample back in 1999. Its one of the most influencing songs in my childhood.
Hadn’t heard it before, it was dope and the music video was really good! 🔥.. don’t remember the song title or group, but it sounds like the classic “if loving you is wrong I don’t wanna be right”
Thanks a lot my friend! Unfortunately not, I have my vinyl EP on Spotify with rap and instrumentals if you search BoombapArt, and you’ll find my “Pjer” album. 👊🏻
Solid boombap beat for sure. Quite curious that you start learning the MPC platform on an old machine though. New users typically embrace the improvements that the latest MPCs offer before dipping their toes on the legacy devices.
Thanks! It’s an old video from last year.. but I guess you’re right, however I had the 2000xl back in the days.. but never really embraced the machine and the workflow. When I bought the MK3 when it was released I never looked back.. maybe I’ve slept on the MPCs 🤷🏼♂️
@@BoombapArt If the Maschine platform works well for you then you're not really missing out on the MPC anyway. Both have their own workflow perks but in the end, they will get you the same results. The MPC One is basically a Maschine Plus in that regard, it just has a different workflow philosophy.
@@Drrolfski good to know! I’ve been able to adapt my 25 years as a beatmaker on any device, but they all have different workflows. If I pick up like the MPC One, maybe I can inspire/help someone out eventually.
Dope, dope🔥🔥🔥In a video you said that an Mpc one wasn't for you. Does this also apply to the Mpc 2500? Or in general? I'm faced with the choice of Mpc one or 2500, which model would you recommend and why?
Thanks, appreciate it.👊🏻 I don’t like the MPC workflow in general, not as streamlined as Maschine.. but that’s just my opinion. Between the 2500 and One I would pick the One, it’s faster and easier to chop samples with the touch screen.
@@BoombapArt hey thank you 🙏👍👍 I understand you. . And is there a difference in the sound between the mpc one and the 2500. Lately I've been hearing about converters. Is it just voodoo or is there something to it?
There’s something to it, but like any groovebox/sampler.. they all sound slightly different even if most of them supports 16bit 44khz. Not voodoo, but I wouldn’t go down that rabbit hole, then you might end up wanting the 12bit classics. Samples, sound selection, mixing and mastering can do wonders. Maybe it just me, but I don’t really care that much about. I want stuff to work, and work smoothly and efficiently.
I’ve abandoned that part. I just create, I don’t mix and master. That’s what people with degrees in mixing/mastering engineering are for. I rather spend that time and energy focusing on my beatmaking craft.
@@BoombapArt did you sell your 2000xl? If so, for any particular reason? I’ve been rattling my brain for 2 months everyday and can’t decide on which to get.
I bought the 2000XL half broken, a lot of things the seller didn’t showed and the screen was in bad condition when I bought it, it got way worse (full of stripes), busted fader and a lot of bad buttons.
this sounds like real boombap!
Thanks 👊🏻
sounds better than 90% of the music out nowadays and u made it pretty quick. much respect
Thanks a lot 👊🏻
The vox really added the much needed Soul to the beat.
Thanks 👊🏻
Dope beat man! I know this sample from a german rap group. The song is called "Esperanto" from "Freundeskreis".
Thanks! Ah I see, imma check that out! 👊🏻
Always with the fire! Very creative with the setup change mate 👊🏻
Thanks! I do miss the setup, but I have some ideas back home! 👊🏻
More videos with mpc 2500 please!!!¡ soo cool
I’m not getting rid of the 2500.. the MPC One arrived today, so I’ll probably make a couple of videos with that one.
Thank you, Boombap Art. Blessings!
Thanks David 🙏🏻👊🏻
INSPIRATION BROO !!! DOOOOPE!!!
Thanks a lot my friend 🙏🏻👊🏻
Badass mix done! 👊🧡👍
Thanks! This is just straight out the box.. no mixing tho 😬
Nice and I love the 2500. I like classic MPC's in general. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Keep it up my man.
Thanks! I have little to no experience with the MPCs, I’m selling my One.. but I will keep the 2500 and I’m sure I’ll make more videos in the future.
Nice one, dude!!!
Thanks 👊🏻
Man I missed your recent videos, been busy! But it’s so good to catch up. Some beautiful boombap right here ❤️
No worries my friend! Life can sure be busy at times! 👊🏻

Very solid beat and the scratches at the end are a nice addition. Have you considered getting JJOS?
Thanks man! At some point I might get it.

Ah, okay, That makes sense.
I'm at war with mixing and mastering. The controls and buttons rarely do what I want🤣😉

2500 is so hot right now :v
It’s a nice piece of gear, but I’m really excited to get my hands on a newer one, like the MPC One!
