I've watched several tutorials on making calla lilies and yours was by far the easiest to follow, and to make! I made 6 of them right away! The only problem I had was my fingernails kept making little dents in the lilies so I guess I'll need to work on that. Thanks so much for this great video!

Gum paste is like a "cousin" of fondant. It dries a little more firm and quickly, which can work to your advantage in a number of situations. You can also roll it thinner without it breaking, which comes in handy for delicate things like flower petals.
