Blazing forth from Antioch, California came the mighty Overwhelming Colorfast. Along with the erstwhile Bean and Torg, the brothers Reed put both the noise and the pop in Noise Pop and drew the inevitable comparisons to Husker Du. Their first two albums are two of the finest slabs ever recorded, and this song is from their first effort, 1992's self-titled debut. By all rights, they should have been as big as Nirvana, another band whose break-out record was produce by Butch Vig.
