@29:00 from a ex ICU RN here, ease of access honestly. If you’re healthy and otherwise going home soon, keep your stuff on but if you’re critically ill or coming out of a procedure, it’s really hard to tell if you’re swelling/bleeding/worsening in general through regular clothes. Even harder to check drains, get access to catheters, etc. If anything splashes the gown or you’re going to need CPR and we need pads on your chest for defibrillator attachment, it easily comes off and can be replaced with a few button snaps.

Brother, black deck is piece of garbage, why is it so bad? If you get off the ground - sure, it's nice to have an extra joker slot. But it's so frustrating at the start, and the amount of wiggle room you have is just 0 when you're on higher stakes
early advantage compounds on itself, that is inherent to the genre. With black deck you have an early disadvantage. The worst part is that your econ gets hit so you can afford getting your joker slots filled up later than other decks
