as a former erasmus student in lithuania twice, and a future masters degree student in Lithuania... this was my biggest issue since my home country doesn't use euros. i always preferred lidl since it was the cheapest so I didn't have the luxury to choose quality products, cheaper the better. thank you for the information its really useful. x
If you go to local turgus and you find someone you like to buy products from, then you can get discounts or best products, some adds to your bag for free like a few apples. You also need to know how to store products. For example green leaf vegetables like salad, spinach you need to wrap in paper towel or newspaper and put in paper bag, it will prolong product life almost twice. Shop based on your menu and try to get recipes from one product as much use as you can. If you are single, you can budget more easily.
The new prices of food is just something else right now. I hardly shop at lidl but your video showed some interesting products they have and I will give them a try for grocery.
They are good for the basics … usually 😆 but after recently discovering SALE Parduotuve and Promo Cash&Carry I might have to research and compare prices
Really? I always buy apples from the supermarket and I’m always happy with them. I will have to try some from the bazaar some time to see the difference!
I love buying legumes uncanned and hardly eat meat coz the kenyan in me finds them to be lacking in taste. also getting some stuff in turgus saves some coins 😅
Nice info again. Would love to see comparison of same brand and quantity of beer, wine, whiskey and vodka in different stores. PS- I like to self checkout most of the time. :)

This takes me back to my student years haha. Hot dog and pasta diet or sometimes just ramen noodles.

Thanks
I have never found good apples in the supermarket. Always buy them at the bazaar.

Thanks for the suggestion! 😃
Turgus is actully more expensive sometimes. But in my head it's better quality so its ok.😅
Unfortunately the price of food, especially meat and grain products will be increasing further because of the war.
Yeah, I don’t think the numbers I provided will stay accurate for very long 🙈
