I was on a 3/4 date with a guy who was weird, but seemed okay. I’m opening up about my last relationship which was abusive and how my ex is locked up and I’m trying to heal and move on.
The dude goes on this HUGE tirade, spewing about how if women get abused it’s their own fault because they chose the man, and if women chose nice guys, that wouldn’t happen. And then he said “you must have terrible taste in men”
I got up, grabbed my purse and said “obviously I do, so I’ll be leaving” I left and he begins to call and text saying “no, not me. I’m the good guy.” It’s been 10 ish years, and I’m married while he’s in jail for? Can you guess reader? That’s RIGHT! Domestic abuse
I’ve been in an abusive relationship myself, I’m sorry you went through that. Yesterday I had a guy 26 reach out to me 16 calling me princess and pretending to be younger than me. He texted me on insta and revealed his true age and I told him that he was gross and blocked him. He messaged me on the site that we met telling me that he hopes I get r@ped, told me to either give him a chance or let him do what he wants and for me to let him “do wat I want b!tch”. Blocked his ass it was gross

Whenever i feel like I'm being too simpy or acting insecure/cringey, i watch these. Helps me realize that I'm good where i am 😂😂😂
out of all of these, the one that still scares me the most is the one on the hiking trail where the dude pretty much kidnapped the girl and talked about her body and saw absolutely nothing wrong with it, rationalizing in his head that he "had something special" with her and that "she's just a little confused" when she told him to never contact her again and to stay away.
Oh god, that one just terrifies the FRICK out of me! Everything he does is all kinds of assuming, not asking her first, not telling her what's going on, he talks like a freaking robot trying to UNDERSTAND YOUR HUMAN SOCIAL NORMS BEEP BOOP and then _what_ he says to her involves "biological responses", which means he probably straight out told her, a total stranger, _the exact details of what his private parts were doing right then_ , BECAUSE of HER, who is only a few feet away and trapped with him in the wilderness. "Nurture our connection" you never HAD one, "use the beauty of nature to bring us closer together" there was never any US...
He's just a really bad-at-socialising creep who probably watches way too many "adult films" and either assumes the woman is somehow reading his mind and magically on the same page as him, or that if HE wants HER enough, her actual opinions about their "relationship" and whether it EXISTS or not in the first place, don't matter.
On kinder days I assume the first one, that he's just really clueless and assumed it was like a movie where _two_ people automatically Fall In Love At First Sight...
On more cynical days I assume the second: He's sooooo into her PERFECTLY ROUND B00BS AND TINY WAIST, that her consent doesn't matter.
If that happened to me, I'm not sure what I'd do first--LEAP straight into the nearest tree and start screaming "GET AWAY FROM ME GET AWAY FROM ME GET AWAY FROM ME" while attempting to call 911 in hysterical terrified tears, or throw up violently. Maybe both at the same time. The 911 peeps would show up to a terrifed screaming crying trying to run away and hide woman covered in her own throw up, and a still-confused I AM ROBOT TRYING TO UNDERSTAND HUMAN BEINGS BEEP BOOP still standing there, acting as if I was calm and everything was normal (and probably still with a boi-yoi-yoing in his pants).
And I'm saying this as a _really_ socially awkward person myself. I just don't literally freaking talk about OTHER HUMAN BEINGS like I'm clinicially dissecting them under a microscope. He's kind of a step _beyond_ the typical niceguy/neckbeard "men and FEMALES" type--he talks about women like they're not even quite _real_.
And some people are mystified that women would rather take their chances with the bear. This poor poor woman would have probably rejoiced to see one if it meant a way out of this serial killer origin story.
Those guys who sometimes go off about women who share these encounters for supposedly painting all men as bad: It's the exact opposite! The reason to share these encounters is BECAUSE they stand out, BECAUSE they are not the norm, BECAUSE these behaviours are so wild and unexpected. Behaviours that are really common are talked about completely differently , and without highlighting individual instances. Most women will at some point have a nice guy experience, and it is nice to share, but considering the amount of guys one interacts with, they are still a vast minority. Just a very memorable one. The same with abusers They are talked about because of how much impact they have, and how dangerous they are. Of course the vast majority of men aren't abusers. If they were, women wouldn't be dating at all.
And those who DO say "all men" are simply wrong and their attitude probably reflects their position and so the problem most likely isn't what they want it to be.

The more I listen to these, the more I think “nice guy syndrome” to men is like BPD is to women (not that men don’t have BPD, I think it’s not as common). I wouldn’t be surprised if this is how BPD manifests in men.

Why do these people think that calling us ugly is some kind of a top-tier insult/humbling moment? Is it because they still think in kindergarten terms? Or because they still think this is the Middle Ages where a woman's only worth was the sum of her teeth and how able she seems to be to survive childbirth? Because I get the feeling if someone looked at them and judged them only by some medieval William Wallace beauty standards, they'd come up a wee bit lacking.
I think it's projecting their insecurity onto the woman.

TBH, I like women to have a nice bust. But, there are so many other things to consider. Two of the women I dated were pretty flat. So what? They were beautiful, intellegent, kind, engaging and great dancers. How shallow can you get? Likewise, although I'm a pretty good looking guy, my personality and sense of humour isn't for everybody. When a woman got cold, I got the hint and moved on. When I met the love of my life, the feeling was very mutual.
If women find you to be universally creepy, maybe it's time to do some work on yourself.

A true nice guy would take the no and leave. A woman who's not interested isn't gonna wake up one day and magically like you. That shit only happens in movies. A good rule of thumb is that a good woman will eventually notice a good man.
It bothers me when people say codependent when they just mean dependent. They mean two different things.

I'm listening to this, realizing I've made a mistake by dating a coworker who is weekly showing me what a nice guy he is
Like telling me all these ways I've disappointed him, bringing up a word I used to respond to a message months ago, then because I'm defensive he says I am sus and no one who's being verbally attacked and has a clear conscious would try to defend their actions

People who always point out age of consent are screaming “ I am a p*do and would go younger if I could.”
Age of consent usually means that for example a 16 year old and another 16 year old could consent to being in a s*xual relationship or get married. You know, people similar in ages.
I have a question for anyone who sees this, have you EVER eaten gooseberries and if you have, what are they like? I googled but didn't get a very detailed answer.
I'm going to be growing.... just about as many plants as I can this coming spring, even got several kinds of seeds ready to start to go along with whatever whole plants I plan to get online, one other of which is called a "seaberry," oddly enough those things are incredibly cold hardy for seemingly bearing so much fruit!
Oddly enough a neighbor guy told me he has n apparently they weren't spectacular but then again he said they were wild so I guess that's one bit. Going ahead with my plans to grow a bunch of plants to maybe sell a a lot at a local store n maybe make a little extra money along with having some nice snacks year round.

2:33:39 is my bit xD its not a "niceguy" comment, it was more explaining what the confusion is in terms of getting matches and hookups and/or situationships where a guy won't commit or define what they are, in amendment to what I said its not impossible for an older woman to lock down a commitment but he's not gonna be a 6 figure guy as many older women tend to demand, that is a response more refined to the kind of women who hit 30-35+ acting like they're in the position to DEMAND a successful man to instantly become their husband, marriage is kind of dangerous to a successful man with money and/or status so its not surprising to see women complain about it, almost as much as niceguys and others complain about exactly those sorts of women and/or younger women who are all about partying and blah blah blah, figuring myself out haing fun and all that.
Noting inherently.... wrong? With this, but it becomes an issue when people complain once they figure out that having many hopeful s**ual partners does not imply that many men/women willing to commit which is usually what older people want most.

Biggest advice for the boys is that being nice is not the way to get what you want, neither is being an a hole. Being interesting and happening to catch someone's attention is the way to do it, you may not be able to help being as attractive or not but that doesn't tend to matter if you actually want someone to want you for you because there are men AND women who use people for one thing or another so watch out for all.
Then you might understand why most people build up a filter for certain behaviors, yes some women get jerked around and messed with, tossed out into the garbage, sure that happens, ok.
Point is men have that happen to them too so I wouldn't really relish in just one or either of these, its not the way to be.
