Strange, I wouldn't expect the ABS to be active for boiling the fluid (ABS indicates you're still capable of lockup). But yeah every time I am on a track day with new people I ensure they've swapped to high temp DOT 4 brake fluid and hopefully have pads better than street pads. You aren't the first and you won't be the last - it happens!
Yep. I'm heading back to Barber on the 26th and 27th of October. Tig claims he's going to come and wants to ride along in the car. We'll see. That would be fun.
