For the next H2H, I recommend looking into a mod that gets rid of the “Pending Action” banner. It doesn’t let players move around armies or attack, but it lets you still mess around with buildings and stuff so that you aren’t interrupted every time someone auto-resolves a battle (also it doesn’t give away where their armies are)

they definitely need to get some mods installed to speed it up. There's a mod to autoresolve quest battles that comes to my mind, and probably a lot more in the workshop
That sick ambush at 1:52:54 was devastating. Cathay got Khuresh'ed within Cathay proper, complete with rice fields. Very entertaining H2H! The banter, the battles, and the botchings!

Remember to take a closer look at that rite you just unlocked, IIRC one of its benefits is to literally double the amount of AP damage done by Corsairs
