I really love how family oriented they are in this family, it just shows how much alike we all are! I am a Fan of Patriot Campers for sure! Great to see them in the USA!
That would have been a trip of a life time for every one . Moab is a great place to visit . I live in St George area it kinda reminds me of places in Australia
Love this episode best of all the trip so far. I remember taking my kids to Colorado for the first time. I love watching the interaction between you and the twins with each adventure and challenge, showing them that even when unexpected things happen like running out of fuel, you can make the best of it.
I'm pretty sure you found Ronny Dahl's cousin with that hella custom jeep! Great to see that Green and Gold roo sticker state side too, great work Patriot Campers!
Thanks Man for making all the episodes free to watch.I went straight to this episode and will watch the next, ha ha as i have a white 2015 JK supercharged and it looked sick towing the 2016 white X1 limited edition from your Goldcoast office. Tommy did a great job helping me make up my mind on the purchase too :) I think u guys were heading to do the cape tour. Ref- QS-6792 Would be cool if you guys did a pimped out JK as a camping rig and bypass all those silly laws with oversize tryes etc etc in Queensland. Drives me nuts when you can see its perfectly fine if modified correctly and engineered like they do in USA Cool man look forward to that JEEP build you were so excited about :) Cheers Reubs
Google "Trans-American Trail" for the ultimate off-road route that goes from the mountains of Tennessee to the Oregon Coast. It can only be done on a motorcycle. I did it straight-through on a 2003 BMW F650 GS motorcycle. Still got that bike, it's bulletproof. Your challenge: Build an overland motorcycle camping trailer, mount it up to either a BMW R1200 GS or Ural w/sidecar and run it across the entire TAT.
Most interested in the process of you guys getting over here. You shipped that rig!!? How much did that cost!? Thanks for visiting my home. My dream is to reciprocate and visit Australia. Btw those animals you showed were not deer, they're pronghorn antelope. And no we don't expect to hit roos but I think a bull elk or moose would do slightly more damage.
Aye Mates, Next time remember you need to air down when you go on rocky trails. Watch Trail Recon and Rebel Off Road, they've made the mistakes so you don't have to.
American cars have 15-30 miles after your fuel gauge hits zero. And American diesels have to be manually primed with a vacuum pump in most cases, not sure about the newer stuff, but a bottle of cold water on the fuel pump will self prime. (yours in the vid primed itself.
