Wild Fish Collecting Trip - Shad Pond, Rehoboth, MA

Come along as the South Coast Tropical Fish Society hosts a wild fish collecting trip for 2023! Hopefully this becomes an annual tradition. It was a lot of fun to see some native species. All animals were returned to the wild after they were photographed.

Been following along off an on since the early DBT posts on Turtle Forum. Grew up living on Whitmans pond In Weymouth and had many adventures growing up following the herring runs down to the brackish areas in and around Esker park. Such a diverse fresh/brackish habitat to explore with an entire host of native fauna enjoy in the area. Even a few wild Northern DBT encounters around the back river area in the late 90’s.

Went collecting this weekend actually, in iowa we have a vast selection to cost from i got channel cats for piranha feeders for a buddy and tadpoles and a painted turtle lots of darters here can also breed and resell all the fish with an Acura culture license
