    Nice job sniffing out the deep tones. Always that chance the next one could be gold.

    I've said it a million times, the extreme depth of a pi machine at the beach is amazing
    Evey depth test of a vlf on the beach is NEVER the same when watching a live dig on the beach with a vlf
    Someone please show me a live hunt on the beach with a vlf that gets depth
    Never seen it

    Do you ever dig other junk like sinkers and bottle caps? Do you have any secrets to hunting with the TDI at the beach you can share? It's obvious you spend your time where you know there are targets to be found.

    • @DetectorComparisons
      @DetectorComparisons  9 лет назад

      +Mark Gillespie There are no secrets when it comes to PI detecting. You pretty much dig it all. Where I go, most of the deep targets are good and I do not dig a lot of trash. I get my share of sinkers and aluminum.

    Hi, kindly allow me to introduce myself. I'm Roland new to the hobby from Asia. I recently bought a TDI SL and I believe you are familiar with the settings. What do you suggest me to set as mostly I will be hunting in beaches? Appreciated in advance. Thank you. I plan to hunt this weekend so it'll be great to hear back from you.

    I see you have vinyl wrapped around your detector. Is it an accessory jacket, or ... how do you splash/rain-proof your TDI Pro?

    • @DetectorComparisons
      @DetectorComparisons  7 лет назад +1

      Its a hefty 2.5 gallon zip lock bag. It just prevents splashing or rain from hitting the box. I remove the two screws holding the handle and then put the bag over the box. Once in place I screw the handle back into place.

    Just curious as to why you don't use the Excalibur like in the underwater videos?

    • @DetectorComparisons
      @DetectorComparisons  8 лет назад +1

      TDI Pro goes much deeper. About 50% greater depth.

    • @MrSymbolic7
      @MrSymbolic7 7 лет назад

      Just 1 caveat that most do not consider , the stronger the detector the more EMF's are being generated and absorbed by your body . A tri - field meter will show you the readings and the Excalibur 2 is in the 120-130 range ( not good at all ) if this is 50 % stronger your getting absolutely hammered with EMF Waves !

    Can you still find the TDI PRO machines for sale? I ask because all i see is the TDI SL being sold. Thank you.

    • @DetectorComparisons
      @DetectorComparisons  7 лет назад

      The TDI SL is their latest version, the TDI Pro's that I have seen for sale are on line like ebay. Some of the larger dealers may have old stock. The TDI Pro goes deeper than the SL.

      Whites TDI Pro. The bag is in case of any splashing at the salt water beach.

    • @DetectorComparisons
      @DetectorComparisons  7 лет назад +4

      PI is short for Pulse Induction and that is the type of circuitry in a TDI Pro. I refer to my TDI Pro as my PI machine.
