Hey Peter, at 27:00 the wood stools are a great buy. Just for your information the 4 Four legged stools are piano stools. The 3 Three legged stools are for a pump organ.
What a cool show. This was recommended to me via the very popular scam compilation video and I gotta say - - this is some of the best youtube that is left. I will have to come and check this place out for myself sometime, I've actually always wanted to do some reselling with my old man. Maybe I could hock some old junk here and get a piece of advice while I'm at it lol.
Piano stools used to sell well, but these days $125 US for an average one seems to be tops, and usually $100 is now the going rate, out of the store. Have seen them for significantly more online, but they seem to sit for quite awhile (no pun intended!)
I'm not sure why , but I only appreciate those who end off a fare deal with a hand shake. I see some extend their hand, and some don't. IDK.. maybe it's just the old soul in me. I feel like all dealings should be signed and sealed with a handshake these days. Man to Man Hand to Hand

Did you mean "fuller" when you said "bleeder"? People commonly incorrectly call it a "blood groove" when the actual purpose is to lighten and stiffen the blade, it has nothing to do with blood.
To the man who had a stroke... you may have stopped working, but you're still an artist. Find something you still love and do it, because itll keep you happy. Paint, crochet, make sculptures out of dog poop. Doesn't matter kiddo. If it's unique, people will buy it.😉

I know you mentioned auctions when discussing the knives. Personally, I rarely do auctions on anything (think it's been years since the last one I did). You have to hope that several people who want something you're selling just happen to check out eBay the week your auction is running. Seems like when you look at sold items, the auctions frequently bring in lower prices. Of course there's exceptions and some things do better at an auction (usually rare items or things that are hard to value). I usually check the sold comparables and then see what people are currently trying to get. Then price accordingly. Sometimes I'll list something for more than I want. You can always accept a lower offer or lower the price later (I usually go through my listings at the end of the month and do adjustments).
