You were probably getting baited by a scammer. My guess is that he was looking for a fall guy to feed to the wolves when his operation would go South... assuming you weren't gonna be his main dish to begin with. If you were really counting on a RUclips comment section to sort this out for you (despite the tremendous information asymmetry one would expect in this situation), then that someone was right to target you...
