U r very lucky to see leopards from a close distance. I have been to bandipur/mudumalai arround 10 times. Did not witness a leopard so closeby. Also, tiger is a shy animal but leopard is not. That's why u wud have heard news about leopard attacking person who is small in size. Tiger attacks human when they become old and not able to hunt thereby become man eaters

Actually nobody cant come out from the house coz anytime lepard could camoflage it self.espwcially ot can attack small animal or kids.careful wirh your kids,coz leapard is a ferious animal and its mood can swing and attack by hiding.i felt you people are buying risk by standing outside whole family without any safeguard or weapon to protect.so sad to see this.anyway sorry its just a awareness to others.
