Great video ... summarises the differences well - having driven them both I find it very hard to make a decision on which to buy. The Tesla has a superior sound system and better matrix headlights. My head says the Tesla but my heart the 5N down to the "fake" engine sounds and "gear shifts" left me grinning ear to ear....

Appreciate it! Owning Teslas are much easier than owning other electric cars. Their infotainment system is 100x better than any other in car system, so is their charging infrastructure. The Model 3 Performance is the best performance sedan for its price, excellent value!

@@KrisTechYT but you drive a car, not an infotainment system... sorry but hate the 'touchscreen for everything' control philosphy, and love all the physical buttons on the 5 N. Even so, the 5 N has a upgraded infotainment system vs the regular pre-refresh Ioniq 5 that is a lot more functional, and therefore out of the way of the task of driving....

Heavy SUV vs light sedan... That's the biggest difference. In Track capability, ICE car simulation, charge speed and v2l, I5N is better.

Not a SUV other then on paper (it's a large hot hatch, non-existant category so we can call it a crossover?), and not heavy for its size even vs ICE as it's roomier than a Model Y in the back seat (more knee and head space). Otherwise I agree.

If you are buying it for strictly a track day car I’d probably go for the 5N. However, the M3P outperforms the 5N in EVERY parameter other than being able to stay cool at the track. If your going to daily drive the car the M3P is the clear winner especially considering it’s lower MSRP.

5N is so much more fun to drive on a daily basis. And different driving modes give both comfort & extremely sporty ride quality whenever you want.

What every other parameter are you talking about except price and range? lol.

@@JohnLee-db9zt You clearly haven't driven or been in a 5N. It's a completely different experience compare to any electric cars on the market even for daily town & hwy driving. It's actually fun to drive and you'd be far more engaged in driving in general due to the features it offers. Modes, "exhaust" sound, up & down "gear shifting," "gear shocks," etc that you can feel from gas cars.

I highly doubt M3P outperforms the 5N in "every category" aside from price and range. You now what it's missing? It's missing an interior with actual buttons and gauges aside from that ridiculous IPAD in the center. Turn signal stock. Heads Up display. etc. What I would consider as the basics of every car. No wonder it costs a little less, weighs a little less and goes a little faster from 0-60. Like daily drivers really care about a fraction of a second faster this or that. Of course unless you're on a track, but then again, the argument here is, that if you're not going to take to a track none of those things matter right? The irony, race cars remove all that for weight savings on a track car. Yet, the performance model
Anyway, what people at Tesla hpype up as a new minimalistic look of the future, is nothing but giving the consumer less and charging more. I'd gladly pay a bit more, if for a car that has the basics. What you may able to live without, I can't. I need to feel like I'm in a car and not some oversized RC with a steering wheel and a screen.
I need to feel like I'm actually driving something.
So... what the Tesla is truly missing is what some would call as the "Soul" of the car. It's missing the soul and character.

Better for what? From a tech perspective, as a quick daily driver not needing the space, yeah the Tesla is be better. From the perspective of an enthusiast driver and/or someone needing the actual space, the 5N is a different ball game alltogether.
