    2nd question. The main thing that confuses the students is plus or minus sign. Sir you have taken ∆V as VB-VA.. although we can see that A is at higher potential and B at lower. It should have been VA-VB...

    As we move the charge from point "B" to point "A" , so our final point is "A" and initial is "B", should we not do as final - initial? Why it's taken as initial - final?

      The infinity we took here Is with respect to charge that's why due to the smaller size of charge we take a and b distance negligible. I think I made it clear.

      The distance between A and B initially is small, i.e delta r then we extend it to infinity later on.

      Means its a kind of convention, u can also say that negative pot means low pot

      We consider positve charge always because its convention and when we use negative change the we will also work done against the electric field

    Sir kindly clear one thing is that we take an point B At infinity...or also we say that the distance is very close between A And B ....so how is it possible distance is close when we take b at infinity

      This is perfectly possible. We can do this by supposing that charge Q is not very strong. So its strength is very less at point B, which is very close to A. So even though B is close to the charge, it looks as if it is at infinity because the electric field strength is so small.

      Basically, don't think of B as a "point on infinity". Think of B as the point of zero potential. This way, you can see that it is possible that B can be close A.

    Great lecture but E is not equal to kq/r², instead E = q/4(pie)(epsilon naught)(r²)
    And at the end;
    Va=q/4(pie)(epsilon naught)(r)

    To sir point a pe potential zeyada hona chye. Because wo charge k qareeb hai to Va-Vb hona chye.
    Apne Vb-Va likha hai.
