Iirc, she’s always been notorious for being hard to work with, and for the Oscars - Matt and Trey got high on LSD and one of them was wearing a dress JLO had previously worn. Needless to say, she is not a fan of them and as mentioned by others has been rumored to fire people over mentioning it.

that is so funny that she and Ben finally got married after all these years and the marriage is garbage apparently. normally i would not celebrate that but for these 2 i will make an exception! Jlo seems to be the common denominator in all of her crappy marriages and relationships. every relationship she touches turns to crap.

The funny thing is the fact that Jennifer Lopez was notorious for being rude to everyone not just the common man. It was and still is pretty well known in the music *and* acting industries. Not to mention being outed repeatedly for lying about how she grew up.
I remember where Jennifer Lopez got her start, she was one of the Fly Girls. If I recall correctly she was discovered when she was dancing in the club. Her next big gig came when she appeared in Janet Jackson’s “That’s The Way Love Goes”.
But her big break out role was when she… played Selena in her biopic. From that moment on she was a big star. It didn’t take long for rumors to start about her being… arrogant, rude, etc. It was pretty well known.
Jamie Fox talked about her in his stand-up comedy “I Might Need Security”. He talked about how he bumped into her during an after party and she snubbed him. Jamie said they knew each other back in the day when they were both on In Living Color (many comedians got their start there: Jim Carrey who went by James, the Wayans Bros., David Allen Greer, etc)
Again she snorted at him and said she was made because he said that she couldn’t sing. He shrugged his shoulders like “Well… I mean you can’t.” Oh! She was with P. Diddy at the time. Another thing that got her foot in the door.
Maybe if Jennifer Lopez had known some humility, she wouldn’t be in the predicament she is in now.
Note: Just an aside, I remember how p*ssed the Mexican community was when it was announced that J. Lo would play Selena. They said she can’t sing, can’t act… she was not even good enough to pass Selena her bottled water.
I saw the movie YEARS ago. I never could understand how she got that role. Jennifer Lopez might have been in a few things here and there but she wasn’t famous enough to play Selena who by then was an icon.

I think Selena would've been very famous and J-Lo being "the OTHER Selena". Even though J-Lo has Selena beat with dancing, since she's done that all her life, Selena had an incredible INCREDIBLE voice, AND could act. Not sure Selena would've been the action star that J-Lo can be. Selena would've been a great actress is her own right.
@@20Avalanche06Music wasn't similar at the time. Selena was a 2nd generation Mexican American and J-Lo is a first generation Puerto Rican American. Both barely spoke Spanish but at least Selena tried. J-Lo is disliked. If Selena was still alive she'd be a mentor to younger female singers.
