Sig, I had a Widow Maker a year ago. I would have died if I wasn't already in Johns Hopkins for spinal cord injury from a motorcycle accident. Why as men, are we so stubborn? Sig, I wish you nothing but a speedy recovery and hope you take better car of yourself.
I don't know. I'm most certainly guilty of it too. I hate hospitals, doctors offices, etc. I have to be really sick in order for me to see a doctor. At the same time, I also know this is a bad trait to have.
This got me emotional. I’ve been following the show since episode one & Sig’s my favorite. His wife is so beautiful & so are his daughters. Lucky man to be alive
I really miss Phil Harris he was awesome and amazing person in deadliest catch and Captain sig i missed those days i always wanted to work with those types fisherman. When I was younger. Much love and respect for those guys
Some people just don't know. As soon as he was in that much chest pain, I was screaming at the screen, "STOP TALKING TO HIM, AND TAKE THE BOAT TO EFFING SHORE!"
If you are not medically trained then the common cure to everything seems to be eat or drink some water...You can't blame the Guy for wanting to help Sig in some way, as a 25+ yr Ems and Heart Unit Tech I knew what it was but he did not show the majority of symptoms most people would have..in fact in a "Widowmaker" which affects a specific artery most people just drop and go into full arrest.
Im glad Sig survived its scary i saw my dad go thru it three times, and the third one took him out, he was only 58, Sig please take it easy we all think the world of you,
Why did they not react as soon as he started showing the symptoms of heart failure. My God, that was just stupid on everyone’s behalf. Hope that the damage done is not so bad because of his stubbornness
Hope you get better sig 🍻been watching this show from day 1 and don’t need to see another good person go ..hope all is well and a great recovery sig…see you when you’re better man back on the show.
Sig being a classic make saying he slept funny! My dad was chugging antacid saying it was reflux when my mum and I convinced him to at least go get checked! He got stented 90 minutes later!
My neighbor smoked 3 packs a day and drank coffee by the gallon and had quadruple bypass surgery at the age of 40. Never worked again either. Had 2 shoe boxes of all the meds he took everyday. Last Christmas morning he dropped dead in his driveway. He was dead before he hit the ground. 😢 😮
Sending prayers to you Sid only God will tell you if youre time is up or not , but i pray that you come back 100 % to see more of youre blessed videos 😊😊😊😊❤
If he doesn't calm down, the next one is going to kill him! My father died at 64. He was having mini ones for a few years before the big one sent him to the hospital for open heart surgery! He later died of an aneursym . I think Sig was selfish. Working yourself to death how does that help you family to pick up the pieces and go own without you?
My Dad was like Sig, workaholic always putting himself under stress and used to smoke like a chimney and in those situations you are waiting for something like that to happen because they refuse to slow down, refuse to quit smoking so when the bad thing eventually happens it's not a shock and maybe that's the thing for Sig's wife.
they were all in shock during a highly stressful time thinking what could have been ... like that daughter said... yet they had to be filmed, staying tough and strong for that stubborn work aholic Sig ...that would be hard
@@doc693 i suspect they meant more the crab fishing culture. they gotta square up against some pretty dangerous waters at times, so they may be more acclimated to being around death's door. That likely extends to the people close to them, even if those people never step foot on a fishing boat.
