This is the only 20 minute tutorial I can sit through, thank you so much! I actually have realistic hair for my skin now.
I do wish there was one on black hair. Its very hard to get the exact colors I want and the proper shading even with this tutorial.
Just copy the hex code
try using a darker shade of brown or blue like animations do, ex : marrinettes hair from mlb, its black. they just made it blue cus black cant be animated and/or shaded well
black, dark grey, dark dark brown, and maybe some grey
the key is to not use complete black. use a really dark brown that is close to black, and go lighter and less saturated on the color scale for the lighter shades.

i’ve imagined a bunch of rly pretty mc skins before, but i never found them ofc. i couldn’t make them myself bc i had no idea to make hair, AND FINALLY I LEARNED! I watched ur ombre hair tut first, but it was a lil complicated bc i didn’t watch this one. i’m rly lazy so i just found a diff one but it turned out worse. THANK YOU for teaching me this, it’s gonna be more important than what school teaches me.

I know this is a two-year-old video but I think you did great. I love the way you sounded. You sound young and fun. I can’t Believe I’m even saying that. I’m 35 and I just got into Minecraft. My biggest thing is I love to mod and add things to my games that are custom to me and my kids got into Minecraft so I started playing with them and when I realized that being able to create custom characters in this way was a thing I, oh my gosh, I love this thing. I'm making a skin for a friend based off of his custom profile picture with black hair with red tips and while I've had to make most of it myself your videos have been a great starting point :) I ended up with my own design for the bangs and sides mostly but without your videos I don't know where I would've started!

You may be able to do it on both, However, I'm not entirely sure- I came here trying to figure out stuff for skins, and I'm not really an expert.

hey, you didnt give us any instructions on how to get where you are on PMC, no hate but i have no idea what to do on it.
once you follow the instructions I already gave, all you have to do is go to "file" on the upper left-hand corner, then "open file" and choose your download.
When making a minecraft skin.. should you create the hair before the clothing or clothing before the hair??

Ok I know how to now so if you have body and outer layer on then it won’t work so you have to turn off outer layer to do the first part then turn on outer layer and do the puff thingy!

hi at 7:39 where you do the eyebrows you said to make it a bit darker than the darkest colour right? well uhm I used black hair and idk what to do with the eyebrows (Edit: I'll make it black for now until u update me)
for black hair, don't use pure black as your darkest color!

How do u transfer pmc skin to skindex?
on the top left there's a button that says "file", then you go to "save to file" to download it. In skindex, select "upload from computer" and select the file you just downloaded.
